What you want and expect a kava bar to be — from the old-school kava goers to people new to the community, it’s just a well-rounded atmosphere and esthetic with an amazing staff, great drinks, and plenty of cool events. As someone who’s being going to kava bars ritually for a decade and owned a kava bar of my own, it really is the perfect spot. Our kavatender Chase was great, and the owners are very fortunate to have him on staff. We’ll definitely be traveling back often to visit. BULA!

My wife searched out this place while on vacation and we had a blast. Chase gave us a full rundown on everything we needed to know about kava and kratom. We had checked out a few kava bars in Florida and New Hampshire. This place blew us away. The vibe, setup, decor. Everything was top notch including Chase. Made us strangers feel comfortable. This Kava social club is easily one of the most unique and laid-back spots I’ve been to. The vibe is relaxed but alive, the kava is smooth and well-crafted, and the staff genuinely care about creating a welcoming space. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow just as easily as the drinks. What really sets this place apart, though, is the chess club. Hands down the coolest chess scene around. You’ll find players of every level—from casual thinkers to serious strategists—and everyone is respectful, competitive, and encouraging. Games spark real conversations, friendly rivalries, and a sense of community you don’t find often anymore. Whether you come for a quiet evening, a deep chess match, or just to meet interesting people in a calm, positive environment, this place delivers every time. If you’re into kava, community, or chess—or all three—this spot is an absolute must-visit.

Fantastic space for socialization, music, and other cool community events! My favorite third place to go and have fun other than work and home life! They even have the only official Chess club in Bradenton, which has events twice a week! Great place to learn how to play, meet new players, and even play official USCF rated tournaments!
