Paris Croisserie Bakery And Cafe

Crema's Take
“This independent Lubbock gem has quickly become a neighborhood favorite with its genuine French-style croissants—buttery, flaky, and best enjoyed warm right out of the oven—paired with a genuinely warm staff and inviting atmosphere that keeps folks coming back despite the inevitable waits. While their sweet pastries are nearly universally praised, be aware that the savory options can sometimes skimp on fillings and items sell out quickly, so arriving early is worth the effort. It's the kind of place where hype actually meets reality, especially if you catch them when their Pain au Chocolat and croissants are still warm.”

Atmosphere was great the Employees were really nice. The sweet croissant was so good but the savory croissant could’ve been better. There was absolutely barely any avocado salmon or cream cheese in it and we paid $11 for it. Put a picture of it and it looks kind of sad honestly kind of disappointed. Because I was really looking forward to the savory croissant with the salmon, but there was nothing in it.
This was WORTH THE HYPE! I’ve seen a couple people complain about the dryness and the fact that they run out quickly. Line was long, but that’s normal for a new place… and it was worth the wait. Unfortunately, sometimes good food has to be waited for! I had a blueberry cloud croissant, it was the perfect mix of fluffy, crispy, and not too sweet. I ended up having a different croissant sandwich later after being in the fridge for 4 hours: still tasted just as good and was not dry at all. The little gem treats are also really yummy, I enjoyed that a lot. Workers were very nice, coffee was also great and you get a very large size for what you pay for. Yes, it’s more expensive, but it’s also very large quantities. I could not finish the croissant in one sitting. Overall, it was delicious and I highly recommend it!!!
Paris Croisserie in Lubbock is such a gem. The pastries are fresh, buttery, and perfectly flaky. Everything looked and tasted delicious. The croissants are the obvious standout, but the other baked goods are just as impressive and beautifully presented. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee and pastry on the go or meeting someone for a relaxed morning or afternoon, it’s the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to again and again. So glad there is a place like this in Lubbock and Highly recommend!
Visited during their soft opening maybe even grand opening on Saturday Feb 28th? No advertisement for the opening that I could find on their social media? It was packed. They were scrambling, but they did a good job. Unfortunately for us they were out of some items. It seemed like they hired plenty of staff to keep up with the demands that day. Plenty of dining space. They remodeled the store in a cute way. We tried the Italiano, grilled chicken cheese, pistachio cream, and sofa croissants. The Italiano was unexpectedly delicious. It was bursting with flavor. The grilled chicken cheese one was more basic. The sofa shaped croissant was nice with chocolatey flavor and texture. The pistachio one was my favourite- light and fluffy with a beautifully balanced pistachio cream. We had a hot Paris Tiramisu Latte and a hot Caramel cloud mocha latte. They were good but a little sweet. Their creations look beautiful and were just as tasty would highly recommend Paris Croisserie to anyone. Parking is a kind of rough because in front of the store there is very little parking. The shopping center has plenty of parking farther away.
I had the privilege to sample a few of the items Paris Croisserie Bakery will be offering. When I picked them up, they were still warm and boy they were tasty!!! I had two Pain au Chocolat and one Italiano Croissant. The pain au chocolat was flaky with a slight crunch yet still soft and not dry at all! The chocolate was just sweet enough but not over the top to where I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting haha. The Italiano croissant was savory and full of flavor. The crust was flavorful and had a great crunch from the sesame seeds. There was a slight amount of heat (not spicy) from the filling that just hit the spot. I shared bites with my family and they all gave their thumbs up of approval for each treat they tried. I will DEFINITELY be waiting with exited anticipation for their grand opening!
