Crema's Take

Tucked down a charming Greensboro alley, this French-inspired café nails the Parisian bistro experience with genuinely exceptional pastries that reviewers rave are some of the best they've ever tasted—flaky, buttery, and unmissably good. Whether you're stopping by for a quick grab with your coffee or settling into one of their cozy indoor or outdoor tables for an unhurried breakfast, the kind owner and thoughtfully crafted menu (including a standout vegetarian Full Monty) make this feel less like a pit stop and more like a delightful discovery worth arriving early for.

It was a quick grab-and-go on the way... This has been on my list of places to try, & just so happened I was in the area. Based on other reviews, arriving early is a bonus here, as most items will sell out. I still had a nice selection to choose from and purchased 3 items. The service and greeting I received upon arrival are both solid reasons to return! I was welcomed in with a warm and hearty good morning as soon as my feet crossed the threshold. Of course, the pastries and baked goodness are what I came for. The words above the counter are what caught my eye initially, as I waited for two other guest ahead of me. After having some time to browse, I decided to try a few things. My selections included, an apricot danish, cinnamon bun, and an almond croissant. I have serious love for each one of these treats!! Tasty, fresh & delightful. I'd love to come here and enjoy the outdoor seating area when the weather is consistently warmer. The interior is painted and decorated in lovely colors and feels warm. They have fresh breads that are available for purchase as well. I spotted loaves of sourdough and baguettes behind the counter as well. The tea and coffee menu were missed by me this trip but yet another reason to return.

🥐Delightful and perfectly puffed pastries with Parisian Boulangerie vibes. There are a Couple of bistro tables inside and plenty more outside in the alley leading to the entrance of BIP. My fave is the “Delphine” which is the croissant with a sausage link inside. It’s very juicy, flavorful and filling if you’re looking for a protein option to get your morning going. The pistachio and raspberry danish was my favorite of the sweet selection. 🧈I overheard that all of the butter and flour he uses are imported from Europe so you know the quality of the ingredients are top notch and is evident in every bite. 👨🏼‍🍳Chef Julien was very welcoming and warm to all guests, including the little ones and four-legged ones. My son was fortunate to have received a couple of macarons on the house from him. Merci beaucoup! 🅿️There’s a paid parking lot behind the building if you’re unable to find street parking, which makes the location more accessible. Please open a location in High Point!!

I’m not trying to exaggerate when I say that these were the tastiest pastries I have ever had. The texture and flavor were incredible. The inside of the shop is cute, and the owner is a very kind man!

Well strolling downtown Greensboro on the 4rh of July, I stumbled down an alley and saw this adorable place. I got a London fog tea and apple turnover and sat out in the alley way at a cutesy bistro table adorned with flowers. The pastry was very tasty and the tea was made just right. Customer service was on point too, very friendly staff. This place is a total gem.

Awesome place! With recommendation, I selected The Full Monty, which was absolutely amazing! Noted as Vegetarian, oh my word, I could have been fooled ! So Tasty ! A must have ! Beautiful place & looking forward to additional options as enhancements to the kitchen happen.
