Taco Billy
201 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC
Crema's Take
“This counter-service gem in Asheville pairs killer breakfast tacos available all day with rotating seasonal aguas frescas that locals rave about, creating a laid-back spot where you can grab coffee and a quick bite or linger with your pup over messy, authentic Tex-Mex that lives up to the hype. The vibe is casual hippy-bar cool with genuinely kind staff and an all-day breakfast menu that keeps things interesting, whether you're hunting for Mama's Favorite burrito or experimenting with their homemade quesos and salsas. It's the kind of place a local recommendation leads you to and you immediately understand why.”

The food was delicious!! There are so many menu options and I'm sure it's all incredible. The staff were very kind and the atmosphere is cool. This was a local recommendation and I see why!! I'll definitely be back next time I visit Asheville.
Cool, dawg friendly hippy bar with amazing food! Once ya figure out that its counter service only, & find the counter, drinks & food were delivered promptly. Definitely try Mama's Favorite burrito - eggs, sausage, sweet potato, spinach & goat cheese on a plantain tortilla! An incredible combo! We'll definitely be back when in the Asheville area!
Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Love that breakfast is on all day and that there is such a variety of awesome ingredients. Queso, salsas and chips were all top notch too. We had 4 different tacos and all hit the spot!
Good messy Tex mex style tacos! The only thing that would make it better is double layer tortillas instead of a single layer. The taco kinda fell apart too quickly
Authentic tastes of Asheville. Breakfast tacos all day and lunch tacos after 11. Rotating aguas frescas. I tried both Hibiscus and Cantaloupe varieties: remarkably delicious! Taco Billy is a gem well worth catching any time you can. The atmosphere is visually very nice and comfortable, but there is no consideration for how sound travels in this space. If you're sensitive to loud noises, don't come unless you're sure you can handle the noise or are planning to sit outside. This is what happens when sound deadening materials aren't used and large spaces with high ceilings are created with impermeable materials.
