Ebony and Ivory Coffee
33930 Weyerhaeuser Way S, Federal Way, WA
Crema's Take
“Tucked in a Federal Way business park, this hidden gem earned its reputation through genuinely warm staff and thoughtfully curated coffee experiences like their coffee flights and espresso-focused drinks that keep locals coming back. The space itself is surprisingly special with both indoor and outdoor seating plus a treehouse, making it equally perfect for a quick grab-and-go iced latte or a lingering afternoon with friends over their full breakfast menu. With an app for ordering ahead and a bustling but efficient operation, this is the kind of neighborhood spot where the baristas remember you and actually care about pointing visitors toward the best things to experience in the area.”

All of the staff was so sweet, I felt like I was talking to some friends. We told them we came from Chicago and they gladly gave us both menu and itinerary recommendations. I got the Iced Latte with Cold Foam and the barista recommended adding a nutty syrup flavor that made it so delicious!! Overall amazing experience:)
I ordered a coffee flight here, and although it came out a bit later than expected, it was completely understandable given how busy the café was. I was genuinely surprised when Abby and her team not only brought out the coffee with a smile, apologized for the delay, but also offered me a gift card for a free drink on my next visit. Such a thoughtful gesture—it really made me feel cared for. The space itself is wonderful, with a cozy “treehouse” area and two individual areas that are perfect for reading or spending a peaceful afternoon. I’ll definitely be coming back:)
New coffee shop go us, nice layout for inside and outside seating, plus a treehouse. Business has an App to get points and order ahead. Harvest Moon flight was good, but took longer to get our pesto sandwich and Marionberry danish than the 10 min wait for the flight. Otherwise peaceful experience.
This is a beautiful coffee shop in an unassuming business park. When we arrived right before lunch hours, it was already popping. The line was consistently having someone in it, but moved very quickly. There is lots of room to sit both indoor and outdoor. There is even a cute little treehouse situation in the courtyard. The coffee drinks were super rich, but they have lighter options and there are food options both hot and cold as well.
Hidden Gem in Greater Seattle! I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and location of this coffee shop. If you're in search of a decent spot where you can chat with friends or guests while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere, this is definitely a place to visit. It stands out as one of the unique coffee shops in the greater Seattle area. Ambiance and Facilities: - Variety of Seating: Choose from separate rooms, including a charming, treehouse-like room, or opt for the plentiful outdoor seating. - Parking: Located in an office park, there's ample free parking. - Service: The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment. - Restrooms: Clean, with separate facilities for each gender. Food and Drink: - Price: Average. - Coffee: Similar in flavor to franchise coffee shops but lacks depth. - Food: Pastries are slightly below average and tend to sell out quickly. Overall Ambiance: Cozy and lively, perfect for a relaxing coffee break or a casual conversation.
