MY Coffee Roastery

Crema's Take
“Tucked in Berkeley, MY Coffee Roastery is beloved for their impeccably balanced espresso drinks—regulars rave about their cappuccinos and cortados that showcase their own roasted beans with precision—and their thoughtfully crafted seasonal syrups that elevate everything from mochas to hojicha lattes. The warm, inviting space feels like a genuine neighborhood refuge where you can linger over a flaky almond croissant and watch skilled baristas work with real care, making it the kind of place people return to again and again.”

This is one of my favorite places; I visit every time I am in Berkeley. I appreciate their selection of delicious tea lattes (especially the nutty, comforting hojicha latte) and the soft texture of their viennoiserie. Their chocolate pastries in particular are perfectly crisp/squishy. I tried the orange blossom latte for the first time today and found it subtle, unusual, and pleasant. It’s also a friendly, quiet atmosphere in a quirky space usefully close to the university and downtown.
I tried their Mocha and their Almond croissant. The mocha has a light flavor and the chocolate is just right, not too sweet. Their Almond croissant is my favorite fluffly and soft especially when warmed up. Christine is a wonderful lady, you can feel her presence and energy. I love the vibe there, indoor and outdoor and plenty of outlets. I've been there many times and i will definitely go there again.
This is by far one of my favorite coffee shops ever and I have been to hundreds all over the country. They have one of the best cappuccinos I have ever had. Their house made syrups are some of the best as well. Try the orange blossom! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the price — it’s too much and honestly prohibitive.
My Coffee, is an excellent location to enjoy their own roasted beans, brewed professionally, any way you like it. They have an nice selection of baked goods and other snacks, including a waffle. It is a historical building with lots of character, which totally matches the chill vibe of this delicious house of caffine!
This little coffee haven is everything I want in a café and more. I ordered a cortado and a flat white, my daughter got the hot chocolate, and we shared a warm almond croissant and a gooey chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven—both ridiculously good. They use organic whole milk (a rare find these days!) and roast their beans locally. The flat white had a smooth, medium roast caramel profile, while the cortado was pulled with a lighter single origin that was bright and complex. You can tell they care about the craft—the baristas here could legit compete on the national stage. Every cup had fine-lined latte art with the handle perfectly placed for my dominant hand. The milk texture? Silky. The contrast between espresso and milk? Flawless. The vibe is cozy, like a charming little shack—but don’t be fooled, it’s super clean, welcoming, and versatile whether you want to study, chat, or people-watch from a sunny seat outside. It’s the kind of spot you keep thinking about long after the last sip.
