Crema's Take

This beloved South Salt Lake spot has cracked the code on creating genuine community gathering space, with a rotating calendar of special experiences like their famous heated igloo pods that keep regulars coming back weekend after weekend. Beyond their solid traditional and specialty drinks, Cozy Coffee Lounge shines as a comfortable meeting ground where families and friends actually want to linger, backed by consistently warm service and a owner who's hands-on enough to personally serve guests their gingerbread tea and s'mores.

Edit as of 2/15/26: Easily the Best Coffee Shop in SLC! I’m here every weekend and there’s always incredible events. Check out the food photos! I’ve also done the igloo twice here and it’s been fabulous. Original review: Cozy Coffee Lounge. is exactly what its name promises which is cozy, welcoming, and genuinely special. I came in with some friends, including one who is a regular, and ended up completely blown away. First, the matcha. I’m extremely picky about matcha, and theirs is hands-down the best I’ve had in Salt Lake. Smooth, vibrant, never chalky or bitter, just perfectly balanced and genuinely delicious. The coffee is just as impressive. It was rich without being overpowering, clearly made with care, and honestly better than most of the big-name shops in the city. The croissants are fantastic too. They make them in-house and you can taste the difference immediately. They’re flaky, buttery, and have that perfect level of sweetness that makes you want to order a second one (which we did.) I’m still thinking about them. Please try the matcha croissant!!! And the owner is truly one of the kindest, most courteous people I’ve met in any SLC coffee shop. You can feel how much pride and love he puts into the place. It’s rare to find a shop where the drinks, food, and atmosphere all hit 10/10 at the same time, but Cozy Coffee absolutely does. We stayed for a while on a late evening and didn’t feel rushed at all, quite the opposite! Lots of great conversation with both regulars and the owner. We stayed for a long time and had a great time. If you’re in Salt Lake and haven’t stopped by yet, go. This is easily my new favorite coffee shop in the city and it’s not even close.

First time coming here and will not be the last! My friends and I originally booked the Christmas holiday igloo experience and due to a city power supply issue had to be rescheduled last minute - the owner was amazing to communicate with and worked really hard to accommodate us. We ended up rescheduling for the Valentine’s Day igloo experience and it could not have worked out better. This is without a doubt one of the cutest experiences I’ve been to so far in Salt Lake City. Very well thought out and the staff were extremely attentive. Also probably the best hot chocolate I’ve had in a very long time. It would make an amazing date night or galentines event. The coffee lounge itself is also really beautiful and would make a great place to study or hang out, it seems they have a ton of space available. I’d recommend this place without hesitation (bonus that they’re a local business too!)

We had such a lovely experience at Cozy Coffee Lounge! It was was our first time doing something like this and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and perfect for spending quality time together. The owner and the staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and welcoming, which truly made the experience even more special. The drinks were delicious, and the food was just as amazing and everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. For a first experience, this was beyond what we expected. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back again. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy with friends, family, or even for a cute date. We were truly impressed and delighted with the service!

Went to their igloo experience for the holiday! It was so cozy and cute! The owner was serving us which was special, he was very kind and attentive. We had s’mores and a gingerbread tea and coffee to drink, you can order other food for extra I think. Price point was the only thing where I was a little hesitant ($40pp before tip and tax), though, I’m always down for supporting small business and local. Went with my boyfriend and it was special to sit under warm heaters, chat and reminisce, especially during the holiday season.

130$ to sit in a plastic orb, get served swissmiss hot chocolate, and smores consisting of walmart bought ingredients, on the most disgusting table cloth ever. Throw in some knocked down christmas trees just for good measure! Fantastic grift. -‐----------- Now the owner is in the comments making stuff up about how much they went out of the way for us. Thank you so much for making your employees stay later or whatever gracious thing you think you did by providing the least worth it experience ever. Thank you so much sir, so gracious of you! It truely was an act of God that made the experience absolutely horrible and not your incompetency as a buisness owner.
