Crema's Take

This cozy Carmichael spot hits that sweet spot between serious espresso craft and genuine neighborhood warmth, where the baristas remember your order and the aroma hits you the moment you walk in. They nail both the classics (smooth almond milk lattes) and the adventurous (pour overs, matcha), plus their waffles are worth the trip alone, making it equally comfortable for a solo coffee ritual or lingering with family. It's exactly the kind of place where regulars grab beans to take home and newcomers immediately understand why Sacramento's coffee scene punches above its weight.

Sacramento has the best coffee shops but this one is a favorite! Always good. I even took some beans home with me this time. I’m an almond milk latte girl, hot. My daughter is an iced caramel oat milk latte. Both are delicious!! Highly recommend💫

Food was good, chocolate chip waffle was good, wish there was fresh fruit options to put on top, coffee was delicious. service was good, the girls there were super nice. we sat in the back and it was medium empty, very chill cafe by sac state. overall four out of five because for two waffles and two mochas I paid around $30.

First time checking this place out. The coffee was delicious. Small location, with a lot of options of coffees and teas. They also have several waffles. I had the Vanilla Bean Late, which was really good and a homemade granola bar. Clean location with a few places to sit inside and outside. Would definitely recommend and go back.

I ride with a friend and we use the Sac State property enntrance right next to The Mill. We stopped in the other day after a very cold ride for some coffee. The place is very clean with plenty of parking. There is a safe place around back to prop your bikes uo which is nice. Coffeee was good and well made, the staff was nice but it did take a while to get our drinks. This is ok but there was no explanation given until I took the coffee's, minor issue for sure... they do havea large variety of tea's and tea accessories also.

1st time here. This place was highly recommended to try by family. I am so glad they did! Expected to find another upscale coffeehouse. The moment we walked in , we were hit with the delicious aroma of waffles ! The hand held waffle was as delicious as it smelled. The toast was scrumptious. The Chai Latte ( chai made in house) and the mocha - 👍 It's a small place , very new so all is sparkling clean & bright. Counter seating looks out over a couple of out door tables . We were the only customers inside so the service was excellent. Hope there is more than one person working during morning rush hour.
