Crema's Take
“Millers All Day is a James Island institution where the made-from-scratch breakfast and house potatoes are so good that an hour-long wait feels worthwhile, paired with genuinely warm service that makes you feel like family. Whether you're settling in with your laptop for a few hours or gathering a group, the full menu delivers across the board—from perfectly executed classics like their signature Miller's Plate to creative standouts like hot honey chicken that'll have you coming back immediately. This is the kind of place where the coffee keeps flowing, the vibe is unhurried and welcoming, and every detail suggests a kitchen and staff that actually care about doing things right.”

I can sit here and write a 3000 word essay about how great our experience was here despite having to wait 45 minutes for a table. The house potatoes alone are worth a one hour wait. There’s a reason this place is so busy and so popular. Just come try it out. And get a pancake while you’re at it. Gina our waitress was fantastic and we can’t wait to visit again. We’re traveling from Texas and will dream about the day we return.
Miller’s All Day in Charleston is a must-try place that truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment we sat down, Jason, our amazing server, made the experience even better. He had that warm southern hospitality and charm that instantly made us feel welcome. He was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the menu and the Charleston area, offering great suggestions on where to go and what to try. My son ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The way they combined the crispy chicken, omelette egg, and flavorful sauce came together perfectly. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and ordered the chicken salad, which was light, fresh, and full of flavor. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere inside is bright and lively, with décor that feels like a mix between the 1950s and modern charm. We sat at the bar, which was comfortable and gave us a nice view of both the indoor dining space and the covered outdoor patio, another great spot to enjoy your meal. They even have a little espresso station where you can order cappuccinos or lattes, both of which are delicious. And I can’t forget the homestyle potatoes. Fried in peanut oil, they were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. I highly recommend giving them a try.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! I had cranberry juice and the Miller’s Plate with eggs over easy, grits, bacon, and a biscuit. Mark had chocolate milk and the Miller’s Plate with scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, and a biscuit. We also shared a side of their veggie frittata. Everything was delicious—super fresh eggs, and the biscuit was absolutely huge, light, and fluffy. Our total was $47 for two full plates, drinks, and a side — a great value. The place was very busy, and we were told the wait would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up being less, which was a nice surprise. This spot is locally owned, with another location in Charleston where they do all the baking, plus they run a food truck. The staff are bright and cheerful, and our waitress Sherry was wonderful—she helped us put together our meal in a way that gave us the most for our money. They also offer Bloody Marys, mimosas, and specialty coffees. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and bright. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and this place set the tone perfectly—I left hoping the rest of the day could be just as good. Check out the high-end silverware and napkins. Highly recommend!
Excellent food for breakfast, the whole family enjoyed their meals. Very family oriented, we had a wide range of dishes and they were all delicious. Promt service, fast coffee refills. They have a 90min max duration, it gets busy, for good reason. The cornmeal pancakes were the big hit , though everything was delicious.
I had the Hot Honey Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the hot honey glaze added the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I would definitely order it again. The atmosphere was also great—lively and energetic. The place was busy, but it only added to the welcoming and vibrant vibe. Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Miller All Day. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a fun setting. I’ll definitely be back!
