Crema's Take

LaSalle Bakery is a beloved Providence institution where the staff treats you like family and the pastries are genuinely worth the splurge—their cold brew is exceptional, and regulars rave about seasonal specials like their apple danish selection. The relaxed, sit-and-linger atmosphere makes it perfect for everything from a quick morning coffee to a leisurely breakfast meeting, though the quality and care put into both the baked goods and full breakfast menu justify the premium pricing that keeps bringing people back.

La Salle Bakery absolutely saved the day for us. My best friend’s pregnant wife was craving apple and they came through in the best possible way with apple pies, apple fritters, apple danishes, apple everything you could imagine. Every single bite of everything we got was amazing. It was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what she was hoping for and more. It honestly made the whole moment even more special and memorable. On top of that, the service was incredible. It was quick, very fast, and extremely friendly which made the whole experience nice and easy. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and efficient, and we were in and out with exactly what we needed. If you are looking for a bakery that delivers both amazing food and great service, La Salle Bakery is absolutely the place to go.

Love the this bakery. A lil pricey, but worth it. Is not one of those bakeries where goods are a bit overpriced but what u get is meh…or ok at best. Staff is nice also. They’re great 10/10 highly recommend.

$17 for two pastries and hot coffee is wild; it would be one thing for the pastries and coffee to then be good, but 1. the almond croissant was not cooked all the way through 2. the muffin was dry and comparable to a grocery store muffin 3. and the coffee downright worse than a gas station Even if you’re close, I wouldn’t recommend.

A bit of sticker shock for what I got, but after hearing so much about this bakery I was still excited to try my selections. The breakfast sandwich was ok and the service was good. I am not sure what I’m missing, but the pastries were simply awful. Worse than standard grocery store pastries. I’m honestly not sure what all the hype is about with this place, but that will be my first and last visit. There are quite a few quality bakeries in the area and this is sadly not one of them.
