Repose Coffee

Crema's Take
“Repose is a charming Korean-inspired café where the baristas genuinely want you to discover your next favorite drink—one reviewer was enthusiastically steered toward the Buddy's Butterscotch latte, and their creative signature drinks like the Ho Ho Hojicha roasted latte really do deliver. The spotless, cozy space with warm wooden tones and plenty of outlets makes it ideal for lingering over a matcha latte or spending an afternoon with your laptop, and the genuine warmth of the staff turns a simple coffee run into a friendly conversation.”

The man at the counter continuously insisted I try the iced butterscotch latte, even though I planned to get vanilla. I ended up really disliking the butterscotch latte, and they refused to give me a new flavor. I asked if I could add some cold foam to fix the taste and they said they would charge me an extra dollar for that. My sister also disliked the honey oat latte, and the honey bee latte was ok. I will not be returning.
The shop is spotlessly clean, which really matters to me, and the interior is simple, cozy, and inviting. My wife and I had the Buddy’s Butterscotch and the Ho Ho Hojicha (roasted) latte, and wow—the Hojicha latte was a total game changer. No bitterness or astringency at all, just smooth, nutty, and comforting. The butterscotch was, as always, a can’t-miss classic. You can really tell they focus on getting the fundamentals of coffee and tea right, not just making drinks that look good. Highly recommend if you’re in the Placentia area ☕✨
Plenty of parking and their flavored lattes are delicious. Got a matcha latte with a vanilla sweet cream, which tasted more vanilla and matcha. Also had a pumpkin spice latte during Halloween, which was also sweet 😋 has a cute, minimal interior and quiet atmosphere 👍🏼 usually plenty of seats, but if you plan to work or study with a computer/tablet bring your own battery as outlets aren't available
The biscoff latte was excellent and the baristas were so nice conversation. I went on a weekday and there was plenty of gorgeous seating in a quiet environment. There are outlets there if you plan on bringing a laptop.
Omg I came to a new aesthetic cafe that just opened in placentia. I never saw a pretty Korean inspired cafe like this before. I was so impressed by the interior and the beautiful wooden tones and white porcelain vase decorations. I got the ham and cheese croissant which was crispy and delicious . But the drinks that were soo good were the strawberry matcha latte , biscoff cream latte, cold foam matcha, and panache mocha. All the drinks were delicious and I enjoyed each of them so much!! The owner happened to be there and she was so kind to explain the popular drinks and tell me about her cafe!! I would definitely come back to stay and try the other pastries like kougiman. Loved it very much!! Follow me for more food posts in california Instagram @soppkim
