Crema's Take
“High Dive HiFi Lounge pairs exceptional comfort-food craftsmanship with a genuinely modern, music-filled atmosphere that feels built for lingering—whether you're catching live jazz, working through their all-day menu, or settling into one of their notoriously cozy seats. The kitchen shows real care in every detail, from deviled eggs that reviewers rave about to burgers that rival the best in town, complemented by thoughtfully plated breakfast and lunch options that justify the occasional wait. It's a place where the vibe, the food, and the hospitality converge into something memorable, even if the occasional busy evening still catches them finding their rhythm.”

Went there on a Jazz night and it was amazing. The food was great and I would recommend getting the sandwich and the deviled eggs. The seats were comfy although some ppl found it uncomfortable to sit next to other patrons on couches. Me and my partner did not mind. I would definitely love to come more often and they seem to host a ton of events. The prices are very reasonable.
Great atmosphere and very modern esthetic. The food was excellent. Eggs melt in your mouth and loved the detail of their food plating. I also love that they serve their menu all day. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.
Lunch at High Dive was one of those rare, standout experiences you don’t forget. The burger? Easily one of the best I’ve had in years! Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, no shortcuts. And the scotch deviled eggs were next-level. So creative, rich, and absolutely worth going back for on their own. Great vibe, killer sound system, and just an all-around rad spot. Birmingham, this one’s a gem.
It’s a neat concept but I think the staff may still be working out some operational issues that’s not their fault. We went during a busy time and it came across a bit chaotic. The staff was friendly trying to navigate the crowd, but the music was very loud (not chill and relaxing as expected) the tables are super close together and you have to order at the counter then try to find a seat, and then they wait on you at the table anyways. I understand it’s supposed to be a lounge but it’s really coming off as more of a busy restaurant but that could just be the new buzz of it. We’ll give it another go hopefully when it’s less crowded. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our cappuccinos, they’re traditional cappuccinos which we appreciate. It’s very pretty inside and has a nice outdoor patio. I do recommend giving it a shot but try to lookout for less busy times. We want to come back for the live music as well. I definitely see the vision and appreciate the space in bham!
Awesome place. We arrived at 6:30 on a Thursday and had to wait about 1.5 hours. They have an outdoor patio with fire pits/chairs/heaters so with drinks we didn’t mind the wait. Food: Phenomenal. That truly sums it up. The only thing I won’t get again is the pimento cheese sandwich. Everything else we ate and saw looked spectacular. Service: They were busy - I get it. We waited a while at our table for service. She was training another server, both were extremely kind! I had to go get her so she could take our order, again it was busy so I understood. Overall 4/5 and I can’t wait to return to try other items!
