Dreamwave Coffee

My wife and I like to find local coffee shops whenever we travel and decided to try this one out today. I got a mocha and my wife tried the High Tide, both of which were absolutely amazing (thanks Ruby!). Mike was so friendly and had a great energy the entire time we were there. He took the time to explain the entire menu to us and even explained their roasting process to us when we were looking at their boxes they sell for at home brewing. The entire vibe of the place was awesome and we will be coming back whenever we are in the area, definitely one of the best we have ever been to! Make sure you try the banana bread, it's Mike's mom recipe!

Dreamwave Coffee Roasters is one of those places that immediately makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. The owner is hilarious and great to chat with. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for every single person who comes through the door. It didn’t feel forced or performative at all, just warm and thoughtful. I had the silly little bear (which I loved), but honestly the whole experience stood out. The decor is fun and cozy, the employees are friendly and clearly enjoy being there, and the atmosphere just works. You can tell a lot of intention goes into this place, from the vibe to the drinks to the people running it. Can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll absolutely be back.

Cute coffe spot in Carlsbad with a fun interior. We tried the Macadamia latte and the “Silly Old Bear” (honey cinnamon latte) and both were great! The coffee was a little too acidic for our personal preferences, but both drinks were expertly made, not too sweet and perfectly balanced, which made for a great first time.

An amazing experience! I’ve been there a few times, and every time I absolutely love the coffee. Today, I had the privilege of meeting the owner. He was full of energy and honestly so delightful. He brought a smile to my face, and I loved how enthusiastic he was about his business, sharing stories about his wife and his love for coffee! The best part about the shop is that the syrups are homemade and natural! They also have delicious sandwiches and gluten-free options. It’s a 10/10—highly recommend! ☕️✨

I usually don't leave reviews but I recently decided to finally check this place out and omg I loved it! Nice chill vibe. Everyone seemed so kind and happy to be there! The nice man at the register was so helpful in giving me the rundown of the menu! Ended up trying the Homerun and getting a peppermint mocha! Both were sooooo good! Of course, how could I forget that Wake and Bacon sandwich! That chipotle sauce really was something special. If you love spice then I highly recommend that sandwich. Overall, will definitely come back! Thanks again!
