Crema's Take

Project Coffee is a fully plant-based café in Sarasota that's won over regulars with its surprisingly stellar specialty drinks—particularly a maple latte that's worth a return visit—paired with generous, creative breakfast dishes like avocado toast that actually satisfy. The space strikes that rare balance of being both a serious work spot with comfortable seating and outdoor areas, and a genuinely welcoming gathering place for families and friends, all served up with warm, attentive staff in a clean, cozy atmosphere.

Such a great spot! The coffee is delicious, and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs comes in a generous portion. It’s kid-friendly, comfortable, and a perfect place to bring a laptop and work for a while. The staff are incredibly friendly and create a really welcoming atmosphere.

Coffee was good and food as well. Pretty standard prices for the type of cafe it is. Nice seating arrangements and the outdoor seating is very nice. I don't mind the lack of Wifi, especially as I know many cafes try to discourage people working remotely from camping out all day. Unfortunately I have to agree with the many other reviews also noting the loud music. I have to wonder if the loud music is also a strategy to discourage people from staying too long? Now I'm not one to often complain about something like this, but a cafe with loud music (with lyrics) makes traditional cafe activities quite difficult. No one at our table could hear each other, so we switched to reading our books. However, by the time Dr Dre graced the cafe's atmosphere we all had given up on retaining any words from our books as well. It was also a strange choice of playlist given the crowd. The café is full of mustachioed beanie bros (myself included) and girls coming back from yoga, all being blasted with loud music containing a certain word that, by my estimation, no one present, employees or customers, is allowed to use themselves

I found this place because it was a couple of blocks from where we had a work conference and had my morning hot Matcha latte. I learned that they were 100% vegan and plant based so also ordered a piece of pumpkin bread to take with me. While it is not pictured, it is tasty. I had such a great time and enjoyed my Matcha that I returned at the end of the day and tried the Ube Matcha. While it was a tad bit sweeter than I would've liked I appreciated the Matcha and Ube combo and would highly recommend you check this out if you happen to find yourself in Sarasota.

We loved this all vegan coffee shop! The breakfast was good but that maple latte was amazing! We even went back the next day just for that during our vacation.

Delicious food, still looking forward to trying more on the menu as I'm new to the neighborhood! The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is super cozy and clean! I've noticed it's always really busy and their menu has a very nice variety of options! It's located next to Motel Therapy And across the street from Figgy Co. Definitely walkable from downtown. Not too far from State Street parking garage, but More convenient if you can find street parking out front. They have another location that's in an upcoming area which is also close to other eateries and shops, that location is close to SAAS Middle School and that is also street parking. THEY DO NOT HAVE A LANDLINE. So Don't try to call. You will get a busy signal.
