Cafe at the Point
601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA
Crema's Take
“Tucked near Point State Park, this spot offers a refreshingly calm alternative to the usual coffee chain crowds, with a genuinely peaceful outdoor patio featuring waterfalls and flowers that feels like a small escape. The laid-back, quirky vibe attracts mostly college students and locals seeking good coffee without the chaos, though consistency can be hit-or-miss with drink orders. It's the kind of place where you go as much for the serene atmosphere as for your coffee.”

Way better than the place around the corner
This coffee shop is a an outcropping of Point State Park University. I like it because it usually has a less crowded atmosphere than Starbucks. Mostly college kids when its open. The coronavirus has taken its toll. but all in all still a decent place to get a cup of coffee, sushi, pita wraps, sandwiches, fruit cups, candy, chips and acetera.
Good coffee. Laid back atmosphere. Very clean. Beautiful outdoor patio with waterfalls and flowers. Peaceful, interesting and safe. I love this place. Refreshing!
I love Point Perk! So fun! Quirky! HEHE
Half of the time when I order a vanilla latte, they make a regular latte. There's a woman who works there that has her cellphone on the counter by the whip cream and just sits and on it texting, working slowly. Ate terrible, spoiled yogurt that I purchased. I am pretty sure they just don't care there.
