This place was a two minute walk from the Marriott where I was staying, and I ordered a custom egg, bacon, and cheese croissant. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, fresh, and delicious. With bottled tea and tip, it came out to $15-- much less than the hotel. If I have any complaint, its that I would have rather had one folded piece of scrambled egg so it didn't fall out of the sandwich. No harm, it tasted just as good out of the croissant as in it.

Love to get my food here every time I'm in town because of the customer service I receive every time I come. Rosa and Jose always have a big smile on their face. They provide fantastic service! Their customer service is the BEST in town! The food is always fresh and delicious! My husband works in town and doesn't get his lunch anywhere else but at High XII! Thank you for your great customer service! Teresa

I've had breakfast twice here now before I hop on the bus to get to work. The owner is really nice and friendly. There's wifi (you'll need to ask for the password) and tables to sit at if you need to do a little work before you go. The service is very quick. I ordered for pickup on line and also in person and the food is made very fast and very delicious. I've gotten a breakfast sandwich (The Eye Opener) with turkey sausage on a croissant, as well as a breakfast burrito with chorizo and tater tots. Both have tasted great, especially the chorizo tater tot burrito. I have also gotten iced coffee from here twice, and they make it well. I do not need to add any cream or sweetener to the coffee, as it's not too bitter or burnt tasting and has a nice mild acidity to it, which I can enjoy black.

I love this place. It's a small business with good prices and an amazing staff. They closed for a bit during the pandemic, but they are back open. I miss the amazing salad bar that they had, but it obviously needed to go. You can now order online and they will let you know when your order is ready. You can just pop in and grab your food. The metro steak salad is the best steak salad that I have had anywhere. It was a light on the dressing, so you may want to ask for extra. The peppers, the onions, the steak and everything were well matched and fresh. This wasn't a salad that was made the day before and left to sit.

Good solid breakfast options. The sandwiches taste great (i always get the turkey, pear, brie, and arugula) and are reasonably priced. The salad bar is quite popular, but they charge by weight, so keep some dressing in your fridge at work, if possible. They have different specials every day, and most days 1 of the 3 specials is some kind of salmon. These cost a bit more, but I've never had anything that doesn't taste good.
