Chestnut Coffee House
110 E Curtis St, Simpsonville, SC
Crema's Take
“This cozy Simpsonville spot radiates Southern charm and serves as a genuine community gathering place where both coffee lovers and remote workers feel equally welcome. Beyond their reliable traditional espresso drinks, they're earning praise for creative signature beverages like their caramel latte that's as beautiful as it is delicious, paired with the kind of unhurried atmosphere that makes you want to linger over conversation rather than rush out the door.”

Local coffee houses are much better than the chain stores. Chestnut has great coffee (didnt try any treats) and there is plenty of seating for meetings, working, etc. Definitely recommend.
This was my first time visiting this location and I absolutely loved it! I ordered hot caramel latte and it was not only pretty but also tasted so good. The vibe there was all I could ask for. I am glad to find this place and I will definitely re-visit there again.
Visiting from Murphy, NC we needed to find a great coffee shop in the area. We found Exchange which was great BUT they closed early. They recommended Chestnut Coffee House across the street. It was GREAT too. One of the things we really enjoyed was the elegant oversized mugs. Everything else really nice too. Another place we could call "ours" if we lived in the area.
The atmosphere is quaint with southern charm! This might be one of my favorite spots. The pumpkin spice and caramel latte is good.
I recently visited Chestnut Coffee with my sister, and while there were definitely some high points, overall it wasn’t quite the experience I was hoping for. The service was genuinely great—especially the gentleman who took our order. He was kind, welcoming, and quick, which we really appreciated. The ambiance of the shop was also very pleasant, charming, and inviting, making it a nice spot to relax or catch up. As for the drinks, we tried a single espresso and two 16oz iced lattes—one with simple syrup and the other with caramel. Unfortunately, the espresso was too bitter for my taste and hard to enjoy. The lattes were decent, but the milk didn’t have the creamy texture we were expecting. We were told it was whole milk, but it tasted more like 2%, which made the drinks feel a bit watered down. Pricing felt a little steep for what we received, and while I appreciated the fast and friendly service, I don’t think I’d return based on this first impression. That said, it seems like a great spot for others—especially those with different taste preferences.
