Crema's Take

Walnut Street Tea Company is a nostalgic haven that captures the unhurried charm of a traditional tea parlor, complete with loose leaf selections, silk bag infusions, and an ever-rotating collection that keeps regulars coming back. The staff here genuinely cares about guiding you—whether you're a curious newcomer or seasoned tea devotee—with the kind of knowledgeable, honest recommendations that make all the difference. It's the rare spot where you can linger over a perfectly steeped cup, enjoy a pastry, and feel like you've stepped into a slower, more thoughtful version of today.

I had a great experience with V at the Walnut Street Tea Company. V was very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. As a new tea drinker, V encouraged me to start out with the right things. I’m very excited to try Spiced Dragon Red Chai with some Lemon Poppy Scones. I’m also excited to try the Winter Wonderland herbal tea and the Gen Mai Tea that I was encouraged to try as well.

I absolutely love coming here. Walnut Street Tea Company has maintained such a beautiful, simple "old time" charm that is hard to find these days. They have a massive assortment of tea flavors as either loose tea leaves or as standard tea bags. (Walnut Street Oolong and Singers are my personal favorites) The person at the reception was so welcoming and patient, going above and beyond to help us with our queries. If you love tea, or are just exploring the idea of brewing your own tea at home this is THE place to check out! P.S. The aroma inside the shop alone is worth a visit!

What a lovely tea shop! They did not have one of the teas I was looking for, but did take my information to call me when they did have it available. Very knowledgable of their stock and welcoming as well.... they have boxed teas, loose leaf, and accessories. I love this place already...44 years they say they have been around. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for your kindness.

No. 1 spot for coffee and tea. They have a marvelous selection and it changes frequently, whilst keeping the classics. Small, smells divine, scoop your own beans kind of shop. Friendly cashiers who always know what you want, and grind beans to whatever your need. Fun treats, odds and ends for kids and grown ups alike.
