Vanilla & Honey Espresso
7 W Pacific Ave, Spokane, WA
Crema's Take
“This sun-soaked espresso stand in Spokane masters the art of making visitors feel genuinely welcomed, with baristas who are patient, friendly, and genuinely interested in chatting while crafting your drink. Their signature creations—like the lavender white mocha made with actual powder instead of syrup, the Maxamelon with lotus, and seasonal favorites like Maple and Pecan Latte—show real creativity beyond the typical coffee shop menu. It's the kind of place that brings warmth and brightness to its neighborhood, where both regulars and travelers leave with not just a great drink, but the feeling of having been truly cared for.”

I was greeted by the sun on a warm morning's rise upon our arrival (01/30/26) My sister and I are from out of town and we wanted bevies (beverages) for our journey home. All hope was lost in the dark scary city of Spokane when suggested on the "web" was "Vanilla & Honey Espresso." And WHAT a gem was this glorious, pastel, masterpiece of a drink stand. When we arrived, THEE most sweet stunning caring goddess opened the window..it was a breath of fresh air finding someone so sweet like honey in Spokane. Her smile, her Red hair...We ordered the usual (lemme put yall on a Cranberry,Pom,OJ, Redbull) After exchanging words with m'lady, we discovered she was covering a shift for a coworker in need. She worked quickly and intentionally, chatting with us and complimenting my nails (teehee.) And just before delivering us works of art that looked like a sparkling sunset with loved ones...She asked "skinny straws or big?" My FAV question. "Skinny ofc tysm!!" Our experience at Vanilla & Honey left us smiling, fulfilled, caffeinated, and honored the whole journey home. The Drinks: spectacular, The Service: stupendous, The Atmosphere: Refreshingly Welcoming and Warm! I recommend.
We really liked this place. The lady making our drinks was super sweet and very patient with us. The lavender white mocha was amazing and they even had white mocha powder (instead of only syrups)!!! So good. The only downside might be the garbage nearby from the homeless population but it doesn't take away from the customer service at all. Will definitely be back.
We made it for happy hour. My husband got an Americano and I got the Maple and Pecan Latte. The woman who helped us was so friendly. We talked about the weather and Black Friday and she was very accommodating with a few requests on my drink.
Great drive thru coffee spot! The surrounding area can appear challenging so it’s encouraging to have this spot adding some bright colors, friendly faces and really solid drinks to the atmosphere. (Although the “Open” sign always blinds my eyes - don’t look straight at it! 🙂🤔💯)
I have been to this stand just a few times here and there and have always gotten the same drink (Maxamelon with lotus), and it has always been good. Today, I don’t even know what flavors she put it in, because it’s dark red and just probably not correct. Today was my first time trying food and I was not impressed by any means. I paid what, at LEAST $6 for a measly sandwich that I was super disappointed in. I used to work in coffee and I guess I just had more pride in the things I would hand out the window to my customers. Will return but today was my first day there in a while and it’s on my commute to my new work location so I’m hoping this was just a one-off.
