Crema's Take

Etc. Coffeehouse is a uniquely purposeful space where you pour your own fair-trade coffee on a donation basis, with all proceeds supporting a local food pantry—making every cup part of something meaningful. The converted church lounge feels more like a beloved study sanctuary than a traditional café, complete with a fireplace and a spacious Watseka room, drawing students and community members who come for the genuine warmth of volunteers and neighbors as much as the excellent coffee. It's the rare spot that balances social good with genuine coziness, where you're invited to linger as long as you'd like.

Do not miss giving this place a visit! It is SO cozy and has such a quaint vibe inside. There's free coffee and snacks everyday. There's also a fireplace! It's a great place to get some work done or study or just sit and enjoy the vibes.

This is not really a cafe as advertised. It is more of a cozy study lounge with pour your own coffee sold in support of the church food pantry. The atomsphere and people are lovely, there are not too many people in the spaces, and it is close to all the engineering classes. In the past I have had trouble with connecting to WiFi, which can be hit or miss. I definitely recommend going, just be prepared with different kinds of work in case you have trouble with WiFi.

Great fair-trade, donation based coffee place. Very simple, self serve, and all profit goes to help fight hunger. Volunteers are nice too. Amazing organization doing good.
