Crema's Take
“Mahalo Coffee Roasters is a cozy neighborhood gem where the baristas genuinely care about pairing you with your perfect drink—their Black Forest Cherry latte is a masterclass in unexpected flavor combinations that keeps customers coming back. The intimate 48-person space strikes that rare balance of being spotless and welcoming, with thoughtful seasonal offerings like cinnamon rolls and acai bowls that complement their skillfully crafted coffees. It's the kind of place where you're equally likely to find someone settling in with a laptop for hours or popping in for a quick specialty treat, all while feeling like you've found your neighborhood coffee home.”

I had the Black Forest Cherry latte per the baristas recommendation. One of the best lattes I've ever had! Such a unique combination of flavors. The baristas were so friendly and helpful and the drink was made super fast! The atmosphere is super comfy with a cool beachy vibe. Highly recommend Mahalo. 😊
Very quaint cozy coffee shop. Nice relaxing place with seating and assuming WiFi (seen ppl on laptops at tables) and have a nice menu of oatmeal’s and açaí bowls. Max capacity is about 48 so it’s not a larger establishment but it’s very warm; when you walk in you’re greeted with smiles and staff eager to assist. Def will be back.
First time here and had a great experience! The staff is super sweet and attentive, and made the best confetti latte!
Stopped here in Powell for a quick treat and we were pleasantly surprised. This place is almost spotless in cleanliness, the mixed coffees are really great and the cinnamon roll was almost perfect. My wife had banana bread and thoroughly enjoyed it. We have a new go to place for coffee and treats, a fitting end to a stressful day. We had an awesome visit!
Updated review: I heard they were recently under new owners. Came in on 9/22/2023, & things have gone downhill quite a bit since they first opened &/or I last visited. It took forever for them to take my order (they weren't busy just chatting w/ ea other in kitchen). Cappuccino wasn't hot, chai didn't have much flavor. The GF muffin was really dry & they don't keep butter on hand (but lots of bread items, ha) Order was $12 & a waste of $$ as I tossed both in trash. No music playing, door squeaks & bangs shut crazy loud, sadly not a positive experience & wasted trip here. - - - - - - Super chill minimalistic vibe, sweet Baristas (who will make you the perfect blend) & a fabulous cuppa!! ☕ Right off the main road, clean, plenty of parking, drive-thru, plenty of space to work.
