Crema's Take
“Pura Vida Coffee Society is a gem in Santa Barbara that stays open until 7pm, making it a rare refuge for specialty coffee lovers in a town where most spots close by 5. The cozy, clean space draws regulars and weary travelers alike with genuinely kind staff, pleasant music, and creative drinks like their signature Pura Vida Palmer that justify the premium prices. It's the kind of place where you'll actually want to linger—whether you're recovering from a camping trip or just seeking a warm, welcoming spot to slow down.”

Customer service awesome 😎 and really happy they close at 7:00pm people are millionaires here but most store closed at 5:00 pm so bad feeling and glad they close at 7:00 Happy find here
Got a Pura Vida Palmer which was tasty, and a bacon avocado toast, which was surprisingly spicy (I do have a low tolerance, I'll be fair, so take that as a warning). The bread wasn't toasted, the avocado was brown on the top, and I was surprised since I assumed the food was being prepped fresh. I would order the drink again, but not the food.
Delicious coffee and a great vibe. The interior is nice and cozy. The staff are kind, and the music is pleasant. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy yourself.
Went here after camping at El Capitan canyon for the weekend. Me and the missus were hankering for a good cup of joe after 2 days of instant. The store was very clean and had a good vibe. Smaller indoor are but there was adequate indoor and outdoor seating. Only one barista / employee working there and he was apologetic about the wait but was extremely helpful. I got 2 cups of pour over of their lightest roast. It was a bit too dark for my taste but smooth and not bitter at all. My oldest got the creme brulee latte and loved it. The bacon avocado toast was the BEST! The toast, avocado, bacon, hard boiled egg and sauce was so delicious. I didn't want to share it with my partner it was so good. The breakfast sandwich with sausage was one of the best my youngest ever had apparently. He said it was better than a McDonald's cheeseburger and that WAS his favorite food of all time. Lol. He even asked when we'd be going back. In summary. The coffee used was on the darker roast side and would probably have been better as an espresso/milk drink in my opinion. If you like darker roasts then this is the place for you. The food there was excellent and I especially recommend the avocado toast.
Nice coffee place that opens until late. Convenient parking through paseo nuevo. Downside is that drinks are on the pricier side, and prices were not listed on the menu. Their mangonada was a bit too sweet, but I liked their pour-over.
