Little Mesa Cafe

Crema's Take
“Little Mesa Cafe is an unpretentious East Mesa favorite where all-day breakfast is taken seriously, with standout dishes like perfectly seasoned ham, crispy hash browns, and French toast that keep locals coming back for good reason. The family-owned spot nails the details that matter—fresh vegetables instead of canned, quality ingredients in every plate—and creates the kind of welcoming, unhurried atmosphere where a casual breakfast with friends turns into the kind of morning you actually remember. It's the rare kind of neighborhood cafe that balances genuine hospitality with consistently solid food, making it equally good for a solo coffee or a family gathering.”

Great little spot in East Mesa. Breakfast served all day and was delicious. We ordered the country breakfast and loved the French toast, eggs and bacon. The breakfast ham was wonderful as well. Food was fresh, scratch made and reminded me of my mom's cooking. Will definitely come back.
Food was great. I loved the food no doubt! I had the corn beef hash and the potatoes were so crispy and delicious. The orange juice was not. I don’t think it was orange juice, I did not drink it but still payed for it. The service seems kind of a pick and choose. They have their regulars and when you’re new , you get ignored. The Mija didn’t seem friendly so I didn’t tip! This is like senior citizens type of atmosphere but I was only there for breakfast. I recommend the food but maybe for take out..
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Little Mesa Cafe is a true family-owned local gem. Some friends and my son treated me to breakfast here, and it turned into one of those mornings you really appreciate. I had the ham and cheese omelette and added green chilies 🤤 — absolutely delicious. Fluffy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My son ordered the country breakfast, and it was a classic, hearty plate with generous portions. Everything came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can really feel that this is a family-owned place. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed — the kind of spot where you’re not rushed and you feel at home. Great food, great people, and a genuine neighborhood vibe. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend supporting this local Mesa favorite.
The Ham n Yams meal was fabulous 👌. The ham was perfectly prepared. The pineapple slice was not a cheap slice from a can. The greenbeans were fresh and yummy, again not from a can. The Yams were perfect too. They were so light, fluffy and full of flavor. The server was great. What ruins the visit is the boy on the register. I inquired about a Veteran discount as I am Retired Military and some places have it. He became arrogant as if I asked for free. That wasn't the case. I live in Anthem so not sure if or when I will be back.
Had some of their dinner options and dessert. My favorite was the New England clam chowder and the beer battered fish. This cafe is amazing, great service , AZ locally owned , such a sweet and hard working owner. Served us herself. Grateful to have eaten here. Recommend 10/10 please check it out if you are wanting to try an AZ local restaurant.
