Crema's Take
“This East Nashville gem is a Czech-style bakery and café that's earned serious devotion for their kolaches and scratch-made pastries, especially those legendary cinnamon rolls with perfectly balanced dough and icing. The team, led by the notably sweet Sara, treats every order with care—whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast sandwich or ordering in bulk for an event—making it the kind of neighborhood spot where regularity clearly pays off. Small but mighty, Yeast delivers the kind of quality and warmth that keeps locals coming back between runs and weekend visits.”

Cute bakery in East Nashville. I came here for the cinnamon roll and it did not disappoint! I carried it out and heated it up at home. The dough was delicious with a great icing mixture
Food is so good! Had a kolache and breakfast sandwich. Amazing Place is small, but still nice!
Sara is the sweetest! My wife and I used to order large quantities of kolaches for an event that we put on here in Nashville, and everything was always top notch! Stopped by this weekend while visiting in town and the jalapeño kolsche hit as always! Must try when visiting!
Like other bakeries in the area this was recommended as a fresh pastry bakery with good quality products I guess Monday isn’t their best day. I stopped in during my run this morning and settled on the cinnamon apple kolache. With a name like “yeasted” I expected to get a yeasted experience. Soft, tender, slightly chewy, moist pastry. Unfortunately that wasn’t was i experienced. The dough was dry and almost styrofoam textured and far from what I’d want in a kolache or yeasted product. The cinnamon apple filling was decent but I had to basically pull off the surrounding dough and just eat the middle because the outside was so dry. Not sure what happened if today was an off day or what but I can say this wasn’t a good experience or one that would have me going back or recommending them to anyone. With that said I appreciate the fact they offer to warm them up for you but hot dense dry pastries are…… no enjoyable.
Yeast Nashville is a hidden gem! It’s a Czech-style bakery and café that specializes in kolaches, and they do them right. I tried the jalapeño sausage and cheese kolache savory, perfectly baked, and full of flavor. I also had the Sweet Cream Cheese Kolache, which was rich, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. The pricing is extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. The staff were kind, patient, and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Whether you’re a first-timer or a kolache connoisseur, this place is definitely worth the stop. I’ll be back for sure!
