Chef Wienee Miss Beanee

This is a great hometown dinner. The waitress was extremely friendly, with a warm personality. The inside is inviting and welcoming. The food was great, and the portions were huge. This place has become a regular stop, when we are visiting Anchorage.

July 15th, 2025 Used to enjoy eating here. Good time the meal was bland. Mashed potatoes and gravy had sausage in it, but that isn't mentioned on the menu. I don't eat pork. They made another Mashed potatoes and gravy for me but it tasted terrible. That's my last time eating there.

The atmosphere of this diner is very warm and welcoming! The menu is very creative, mimics a newspaper, and has plenty of interesting nuggets of information to keep you entertained. However, I should warn you, the portion sizes are huge! Overall, the food was pretty good, though the omelet was slightly on the salty side. This diner is pretty top notch.

Perfect breakfast spot. I heard a customer called by their first name, which I really enjoyed making it feel like this is a great locals spot. My breakfast was good, leftovers were just as good the next day. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. I felt the price was reasonable for the portion. The staff made us feel so at home, that I would definitely come to this place again and again. They definitely know what customer service is about. Come support a local business.

Had brunch with the family. Second meal here. Not bad food at all. The service was fast and friendly. We were very happy overall great tasting bacon! The pancakes were stellar. Really good flavor, light and fluffy. Chicken fried steak was good. I wish we had gotten a cinnamon roll. Was the size of a dinner plate!!
