Crema's Take

This Long Beach bakery is where espresso craftsmanship meets custom cake artistry, earning serious love from locals for both their carefully pulled shots and show-stopping buttercream creations. The vibe is genuinely laid-back and unhurried—you'll find yourself settling into the couch with your cortado while the team takes their time getting your drink or custom order just right. Fair warning: stick to their espresso-forward drinks and pastries rather than venturing into the matcha menu, but if you need a cake that'll have your guests talking, they're your people.

I had them make me a cake for my 40th birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a Swiss buttercream espresso with chocolate ganache, and I received so many compliments on it from my guests! Highly recommend!

Literally, delicious WiFi ✔️ Couch ✔️ In a perfect world, they have a parking lot and longer hours but it’s Long Beach and a bakery…

Matcha tasted like watery milky seaweed and was mealy, it separated easily and the particles reformed quickly after being stirred. If you want a matcha, I would not recommend. However, my friend got a buttermilk biscuit with blackberry jam which was delicious! Great spot for pastries.

There was one thought that came through my mind when I ordered, "this is so California!" The man who took my order was so chill, I didn't feel rushed at all. And he didn't even give me an option to tip! (those get annoying when its just take out) I just gave $2 to the meh coffee shop I went to and I wish I would have given it to him! The gooseberry scone was amazing! Moist and dry and fluffy and perfectly tangy. The strawberry one was like a delicious hug (I used to eat scones In elementary school but never found good ones, until now!). My aunt loved the chocolate chip one. Overall, loved Saints and Sinners. Very cultural experience. 10/10 would recommend as someone from the other coast

I ordered 2 custom cakes for my son’s 1st birthday party that was “Oneder the Sea” themed. Saints and Sinners absolutely did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations. I ordered a decorated smash cake and also a larger cake for the rest of the party to enjoy. I gave one reference photo but told Traci to be creative. She is very talented! Thanks again!
