Crema's Take

Dear Globe Coffee is a beloved Baltimore institution where LieAnne's years of coffee roasting expertise shine through in standout Ethiopian blends alongside inventive Filipino food offerings that locals and visitors alike can't stop raving about. The space itself feels like a creative hub—think unique decor, a gallery hosting regular art events across the hall, and a genuinely warm owner who takes time to connect with customers—making it feel less like a pit stop and more like a genuine window into Baltimore's character. Whether you're after a strong, expertly pulled shot or curious about their signature creative drinks paired with exceptional sliders, this is the kind of neighborhood spot that earns its devoted following.

Great place to grab a quick and unique breakfast! We stayed at the Hotel Indigo about 10 minutes walking from this cafe. It was convenient, but also made us feel like we were experiencing Baltimore. We had fantastic sliders, an ube croissant, and coffee. The space is cozy and the service was amazing!!

LieAnne has been roasting for years and I’ve been in love with her Ethiopian roast since about 2010. They also serve up Filipino food and host regular art events in the gallery across the hall.

This place was awesome! Everything we tried was delicious, the coffee was wonderful too. I liked the atmosphere of the place and the people working were very helpful and friendly, and their suggestions were great.

This spot has been on my list for a while! Stopped in and chatted with the owner for a while and learned about the space. Enjoyed my coffee — on the strong side (my favorite!) and found out about their stand at the Mt. Washington Farmer’s Market. I’ll be back!
