Unity Coffee Company
, Syracuse, NY
Crema's Take
“Unity Coffee Company is a late-night haven in downtown Syracuse where coffee excellence meets cocktail creativity, offering everything from meticulously crafted espresso drinks to surprisingly sophisticated espresso martinis that bartenders are eager to customize. The space itself is a major draw—comfortable couches and varied seating invite you to settle in whether you're working, meeting friends, or just soaking up the welcoming vibe, and the adjacent food hall with vendors like Sinbun and Baghdad Kitchen means you can easily pair your drink with something genuinely delicious. What really sets this place apart is how the bartenders genuinely care about making your experience special, remembering details, offering tastes, and creating an atmosphere that feels more like hanging out with knowledgeable friends than ordering at a coffee counter.”

Staying at the Marriott downtown, stopped by for a night cap or two. Got a little quiet after 9, but that just allowed you to hang with the bartenders. Had fun with some drink. Great vibe.
Great coffee and treats in the most comfortable setting. There's room to relax, work, talk, and various tables and couches to relax. The coffee is some of the best around and is priced fairly compared to other similar local establishments. The baked goods are all spectacular and are varied by season and availability. There are the staples, but also there are specialty goods paired with some unique coffee beverages. I've stopped by for a quick coffee to go and have visited specifically to lounge and enjoy. The drinks are prepared artfully and as quickly as possible. They offer to go cups as well as the traditional sit down varieties. With the Market right there (during operational hours) you're able to get superb coffee as well as whatever else you could want. But even as a standalone coffee shop, it's the best choice in the downtown area. Highly recommended for any in search of a comfy spot with top-tier coffee.
I had an espresso martini that was one of the best! It was so smooth and delicious! The bartender was really nice and let me sample a few things as well.
I was so happy to come across this place. The bartender made me feel welcomed while I was eating in the food hall next door. The cocktails were surprisingly creative and all very delicious, and a great deal to boot. The bar had lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and during the day it’s very light and bright. I also liked that you could bring your food from next door over to the bar area.
Props to Ermas Island(Jamaican)- jamaican jerk burrito, Sinbun (the most creative buns ever. Wife ended up buying THREE), Baghdad (Middle Eastern) huge variety, Salt Coffee and also the Cake Bar for staying open til the end so we can sample. Great experience. Great service by the young men keeping it spotless and inviting. The mexican restaurant closed about 40 mins early tho. All the food was a unique and rewarding adventure. But you must be a bit daring to try something outside the norm. "If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you! – Solomon (Proverbs 11:27)
