Tea Rex

Crema's Take
“Tea Rex draws crowds with its charming, aesthetically pleasing space and expansive menu that goes well beyond your typical bubble tea shop, featuring standout items like Korean corn dogs that keep regulars coming back. While their specialty drinks—particularly their boba teas and creative flavor combinations like Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea—are generally solid, what really shines is the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff that make it an ideal spot for lingering with friends or catching up over a light bite. It's the kind of place where the whole experience, from the cute decor to the relaxed vibe, matters just as much as what's in your cup.”

We were so excited when Tea-Rex opened several years ago and we went several times a week; the atmosphere was wonderful, decor was beautiful, and the drinks were amazing. Unfortunately, something happened after the first two years and the quality completely dissolved. Most of the tea drinks now taste like different flavors of dishwater. The smoothies are still okay and the Boba quality is alright most of the time. The decor is still lovely and the ramen bar is cool but I think we are going to have to give up on this place. It just isn’t worth it anymore.
Excellent place to grab a bubble tea or bite to eat. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of comfy seats to choose from. Great atmosphere, and even better bubble tea!
My first time going to Tea Rex today, I was super excited to try the Korean Corn Dog.. walking in I thought it was really cute set up in there. I ordered a Korean corn dog, a few bites in I noticed a hair in it. As I walked up to get a new one remade, I noticed a roach crawling down the wall near the sink area. I then asked for a refund. Will not be back and I 100% believe an inspector needs to make a visit there ASAP.
Cute little place bigger menu than I expected. The Korean dog I had was cheese and sausage ( not sausage it’s a wiener). It was different, good for a small meal. Couldn’t tell there were Cheetos on it. Didn’t give very much sauce, but I didn’t ask for more. Paid a dollar extra for fries and that’s what you get a dollar worth of fries lol idk what I was expecting. Should’ve gotten a second dollar of fries if that is ok not sure. The ragin tea was good. Loved it having fresh strawberries. The place was a bit dirty, bathroom was horrible. Seating not very comfortable. I don’t think they want you to stay lol not a bad place just not my kind of place. Worth a try though.
Ordered the Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea with Boba and the Passion Lychee with Lychee Popping Pearls. Both drinks were okay—not particularly great, but not bad either. However, I loved their decor, and I must mention the exceptional service. We arrived during the last 10 minutes before closing, yet the two ladies who served us were incredibly patient. They didn’t rush us at all and waited for us to finish without mentioning that they needed to close. It’s a great place for hanging out with friends and family.
