ZC Tea House

I really like how strong their matcha is. It’s definitely not as sweet like other cafes but delicious! My favorites are the strawberry and morning in Columbus!

Ohio Tea Festival is this weekend and while I was in the area (not from here), I decided to see what tea shops were in the area. This seems to be the only true tea shop. They also serve coffee but they do a great job of separating both while also not losing quality for either. The barista was fantastic. Made a superb hojicha latte. The roasty/toasty notes are amazing hot but also a great way to cool down on a sultry summer day.

What a cool place to chill... My daughter and I stopped in a few years back but i really don't remember that trip that well so today I stopped in for some tea and chill time. The staff was AWESOME, super friendly and helpful in finding the right drink. The local artist's work displayed on the walls was cool to enjoy. The matcha tea with brown sugar and milk was delicious. I hung out for a while enjoyed the Art and the time to just chill. It is worth visiting and trying one of the specialteas.

This place stopped by my husbands work for a pop up. He said we have to go downtown to them so we did! It was very quiet. Just us and 2 other groups there! I did the strawberry matcha and my husband did a crème type of drink (sorry I forgot😭). We did the pork buns and it was good! You could do the fish looking dessert in different flavors as well! We liked the Nutella one the best!

ZC Tea Salon is a really special place. You can tell that a lot of care went into both the decor and the menu. The tea selection is excellent and perfectly prepared - not bitter and over brewed like you will often find at more traditional coffee houses. I also had the egg sandwich, which was perhaps the best I have ever had. Simple preparation, but excellently seasoned. I could eat this sandwich every day. The prices are very reasonable for High Street.
