California Street Tacos

Birria quesadilla may have changed my life. It’s pricey but well worth it. Crispy cheese on outside and best consume ever. YUMMY!

Food truck review. I was at California 175 year celebration in front of the state Capitol. I ordered two chicken street tacos. $13.05. The tacos were horrible. The meat did not look like chicken, very small portion and blaa flavor. Come on, $13 for two little tacos. I’m not interested in going to their restaurant at all after eating this food truck.

Way back in the day this place was a run down shack called Country Burger. Recently it was La Garnacha but now it’s California Street Tacos and they really brought the place up 10 levels! Nicely renovated the property with indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar that was being installed at the time of this review! The people are cool and the Al pastor is really good!!! Brought my parents down from Folsom for taco Tuesday and because they have vegan food. I usually do to go burritos, and they're really good, but I was excited to hang out at their spot since they have really updated it since taking it over. Pro: -Pretty Big Portions -Everything has a good flavor -The main guys is really nice and friendly -beer and tv con: -It's really expensive. We got an app and 2 beers and 3 entees it was over $100 for 3 ppl -COLD... ICE COLD FOOD, the cheese on our nachos was colder than our beer, my chicken tacos were cold, the vegan tacos were cold, it was a bummer... -Acoustics - just the way it's made and with the fans because it's kinda outdoors to keep you cool it's kinda hard to hear. I will go back, I don't think I'll get tacos again. I'll stick to the burritos...

The food was so nasty. I ate one taco and half my nachos and my girlfriend ate the same on her nachos. 65 dollar meal and half went in the trash. Should have politely left when they didn’t have chicken. I don’t live down there was going to a dr appointment at Mather and the traffic was getting bad. So this is were we landed. Good thing too as traffic has released.
