Crema's Take

This beloved family-owned institution has been serving Key West since 1978, earning devoted regulars who return for their iconic Cuban espresso coladas and generational traditions as much as the perfectly crafted sandwiches and breakfast fare. The mom-and-pop warmth here is genuine—locals and visitors alike soak in the community vibes while enjoying thoughtfully made cubanos, cheese bread, and café con leche that hits just right. It's the kind of unpretentious spot where you understand why people choose to call Key West home, blending specialty Cuban coffee drinks with no-fuss, satisfying food in an atmosphere that feels like stepping into the island's real heartbeat.

Love the mom and pop shop! Great vibes and the sandwiches are perfectly tasty. Can’t say it was overly memorable in terms of flakes and textures. But not mad to eat it and a fair value!

Sometimes you just go somewhere and think, “Wow I see why people live here”. 5Bs has a lovely community and their food is great. We had a sausage and cheese for breakfast and it really hit the button. We met some lovely regulars and felt very at home. The hot sauces are good so try them out!

It's been years since I've been on island, but 5 Bros is always a good spot to grab a cheese bread and colada (Cuban espresso). This family owned establishment has been a Key West staple for generations!

Stopped in for lunch on Tuesday after searching for sandwich shops in key west. I was glad I chose to come in for a burger and fry. Location has been there since 1978. Fran waited on us. Wow. Beautiful, funny, and professional. Food was great. They have a little seating area for a couple people too.

Found this place after a Reddit recommendation for lunch saying it was a good hidden spot. It was true. The sandwich with fried chicken was tasty and well made. Tried the café con leche and it was good too. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and kind. Definitely recommended for a good sandwich bite.
