Got the Kurogoma Matcha- didn’t know it meant black sesame matcha 🤩 light sweet is really not that sweet. You can taste Black sesame with every sip! They have wife limit is 3 hours. Parking in the garage at the back is 4 hours.
I got a strawberry matcha which was delicious. It's my first time trying matcha and it did not disappoint. The coffee shop is small but has a nice vibe and very friendly staff.
The drinks and food here are really good. I had the strawberry matcha latte and a pour-over coffee — both were excellent. The pistachio croissant was a highlight, crispy on the outside and soft inside, though the outside was a bit burnt (not sure if that’s intentional). The café itself has a very nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or studying. The only downside was the service; the staff looked like they hadn’t fully woken up yet. Honestly, they should just go home, take a nap, and then come back to work refreshed.
I stumbled upon Three Fields Coffee, a chic, minimalist café, while wandering after Sunday brunch and I’m so glad I did. The space immediately caught my eye: bright, airy, and packed with creatives, students and professionals fully immersed in their laptops, soaking up the aesthetic vibes. I ordered the Iced Matcha Strawberry Latte, and it was everything I hoped for. I found it refreshing, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. The combination of ceremonial-grade matcha and fresh strawberry is a match made in heaven (a beloved pairing in Japan!), and this café absolutely nailed it. The $7.50 price tag makes sense for the quality of ingredients and the stunning presentation. It’s as much a visual treat as it is a delicious one. Special shoutout to the barista who clearly put care and love into crafting this drink because it shows in every sip. I can’t wait to return and dive into their pastry selection and coffee and explore more of what they offer.
The drinks here are definitely unique and refreshing! While it wasn't my cup of tea, I opted for the latte, which was unfortunately underwhelming. The drink was overly milky and lacked a strong coffee flavor. However, the quality was good, and the flavor in the foam was a nice touch. That being said, it could have benefited from more sweetness. They do offer a variety of sweeteners, but the additional cost ($1) isn't listed. Despite being busy on a Sunday afternoon, the wait time for drinks was reasonable. I might return to try their tea in the future.
