Amor Cafe and Tea Oakridge
925 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA
Crema's Take
“Amor Cafe and Tea is a welcoming spot in Oakridge where the staff genuinely takes time to get things right, whether you're ordering a perfectly whisked matcha latte or a custom boba creation. Beyond the reliable bubble tea, they offer a nice selection of pastries like macarons and cakes that locals praise, making it easy to linger over a drink or grab something quick before the mall closes. The festive presentation and patient service from a knowledgeable team create a space that feels more like a neighborhood gathering spot than just another boba shop.”

Dropped in for a hot matcha latte. I had a short wait in line. The young man at the counter did a wonderful job patiently answering all my questions. He made my matcha to perfection!
We passed this boba shop for years when we were in the mall. My wife and I got a basic Milt Tea with Boba and it was pretty good. Though there were a good number of other customers there, the staff did a great job on getting the drinks out quickly. They have a pretty extensive selection of drinks and other treats. There are a number of Boba drinks in the mall now and I could see myself coming back here when I am in the mall but I would not come to the mall just to get a drink here.
Today @ 7:07 pm I went to get a boba for me and my daughter. I requested a strawberry smoothie and I was turned away because they said they were closing at 7:30 pm and they were already cleaning up. I just felt like it was so rude especially knowing that I drove so fast because this is our favorite boba spot then to be turned away. As long as I have been coming here I have never experienced this. These guys were new. Smh. Not happy at all!!!
Nice variety of bubble tea flavor combinations. There could have been a better range of additional mix-ins but service was quick. The festive boba cup with a pretty print was a nice touch!
Weekend evening takeout(x3 times): 1. Ordered macarons, flavours(vanilla, chocolate, mango, that’s the order in which they’re good) and triple chocolate cake. 2. Vanilla macaron was the best of all. Chocolate macaron was okay. Mango macaron wasn’t great. Triple chocolate cake was very good. 3. Service was quick, price was lil expensive for me.
