241 N Main St, Greenville, SC
Crema's Take
“This charming Greenville spot blends Southern hospitality with curated market finds, offering standout pastries and light fare that punches above its weight—reviewers rave about everything from house-made soups to creative sandwiches. The intimate space (seating is limited, so plan accordingly) feels like a local secret where the chef personally greets guests, making it equally perfect for a quick coffee grab or a leisurely lunch with friends. It's the kind of place where your vanilla matcha latte comes with genuine warmth and a sense that someone really cares about what you're eating.”

We tried The Pantry as part of a food tour. The food was amazing we had a short rib taco and Ceasar wrap. The xhef came out and spoke with my wife and I we even got pictures with him. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and the decor and various crafts for sale were really cool. Emily's mom was there and couldn't have been nicer!
Great place for a quick meet up casual lunch. Very little seating so keep that in mind. I had the prosciutto and Gruyère grilled cheese sandwich on toasted gluten-free bread. It was delicious! It’s rather large and I didn’t need a side with it. I even took half home. The shop they have by the café is also neat. They serve coffee and have a large selection of gluten-free pastries and treats! Definitely a fun place to grab lunch with a friend.
A Delightful Greenville Gem for Food, Gifts, and Lunch The Pantry GVL is such a charming and thoughtfully curated spot — part specialty store, part café, and an ideal lunch stop. Everything about it feels inviting, from the beautifully displayed inventory to the care put into each purchase and presentation. The selection is wonderful and full of delights, including gluten-free and dairy-free options, which is such a treat to find done so well. Whether you’re popping in for lunch, a sweet bite, or a beautifully packaged gift, there’s always something special. Emily is absolutely delightful and makes the experience even better — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she’s created. The food, the products, and the overall aesthetic are all fun, beautiful, and thoughtfully executed. A must-visit local gem in Greenville — I’ll definitely be back. — Renée M. Grossman
Best fancy food I’ve ever had! I am extremely picky and everything was awesome! Chicken and squash soup, the flavor was amazing, so much more than chicken broth! Loaded potato soup to die for! Best homemade Caesar! Breakfast steak tacos were fantastic!Awesome Chef! Cute spot with friendly staff and a great atmosphere! It’s nice when the food is worth the money! We will definitely be back again and again!
The cutest market. Think bodega meets southern charm. They have a little bit of everything - hot food, coffee, grocery, and local merch. I had a vanilla matcha latte and the breakfast tacos. They were delicious! I ate my tacos in the little eating nook under the stairs and enjoyed a stroll down Main St with my matcha. I don’t usually review bathrooms, but theirs was really nice and I loved the tile work. Customer service was outstanding as well.
