“This cozy Third Ward spot does donuts and cold brew with genuine charm, earning passionate praise for their light, flavorful pastries that somehow manage to be both indulgent and delicate. The casual vibe works perfectly for families grabbing breakfast or a quick coffee break, and their generous donut assortments at fair prices keep locals and newcomers alike coming back for favorites like brown butter and cinnamon toast varieties. Guy who opened today definitely needed more training. He seemed confused with questions and he took my order and immediately walked to the back without making sure payment went through. When I came back to get my order he said “oh I don’t think your payment went through” so I had to wait again for him to make my order. I wish he finalized payment before disappearing into the back. He seemed sweet but definitely shouldn’t be opening alone.
I ordered a pumpkin pie donut and a cold brew, both were delicious! In case you get confused like me, the entrance is the same as the door to Sinabro: go up the steps and follow the hall back, the counter will be on your left.
These donuts are 10/10, chef's kiss, delicious, and every great word on this planet. I got the plain glazed and gluten free pumpkin spice. Both were so light, rich, and flavorable. Today was my first day having these donuts and I promise it won't be my last day.
I discovered Donut Monster in the Third Ward through the GoodieBag app and it was such a great find! For about $13, I got a generous assortment of donuts — I think there were around 13 in total. They all looked fresh and clearly made in-house. My personal favorites were the maple bacon and the classic glazed — both were fantastic. I brought the rest to work and didn’t get a chance to try them all myself, but my coworkers raved about how delicious they were. Overall, this was such a fun and affordable way to experience Donut Monster, and I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in the area.
Yummy donuts. We got 5 for about $16 and it was gone in 3 minutes. My 1 year old literally had 3. We loved the cinnamon toast and brown butter the most. The gingerbread man is cute but a little messy with the filling. Maple bacon tastes more sophisticated than others. All in all very delicious donuts.
