Mo' Brunch & Brews
1201 Southmore Blvd, Houston, TX
Crema's Take
“Mo' Brunch & Brews proves that plant-based dining can be a revelation, even for skeptics—their creative vegan takes on classics like gingerbread lattes, breakfast quesadillas, and hot honey cauliflower wings are so well-executed that non-vegans keep coming back for more. The Houston spot nails the brunch experience with genuinely attentive service (regulars rave about staff like Derek and Maya) and a welcoming, unhurried atmosphere that makes it ideal for lingering with friends or family over standout pastries and specialty drinks.”

At first I was skeptical about eating at a vegan place but my son assured me that I would like it. My son and I ate here yesterday.....I'm almost ready to become a VEGAN!The food was OUTSTANDING! And the service was AWESOME! There was definitely a vibe in this place. Think of a throwback to the 70's kind of vibe. The people were welcoming and the food was warm. If you're Vegan, VEGAN curious, or just a foodie in general, you'll want to give this place in Houston a try!
Absolutely blown away by this place - a total gem! If you come in while Derek is working, you are in for a real treat. Such excellent service! I had the gingerbread latte. Best latte ever. It’s a little spicy. A little sweet. Good flavor but not overpowering. I also had the breakfast quesadilla. The portion size is so generous and it is so delicious! Great flavor combination. I can’t wait to come back here!
I went for brunch last Sunday and absolutely loved it. Our server, Maya, was so sweet and attentive. The food was incredible, I had the breakfast quesadilla and a side of the fried mushrooms - I never knew mushrooms could taste that good. There is usually a wait time but it is so worth it, you can get a coffee while you wait and the coffee itself is also delicious. Could not recommend this place more.
We enjoyed our late brunch at this establishment. As a person who has been waiting to get here, it lived up to expectations, however, there were a few menu items that were not available so I would advise to get there early. Also, I like my food, hot and the temperature was off maybe because also it was close to closing time. We’ll be back again to try new menu items. The shrooms and waffles was my fave, followed by the club sandwich.
This is the perfect brunch place if you or your friends are vegan. 👌 I’m not vegan/vegetarian BUT the boudain balls, hot honey cauliflower wings, smokehouse burger, and bbq flatbread were great! The drinks were also very good if you like them sweet just like how I want them to be. The fried shrooms also tasted great! It’s like fried chicken skin but healthier. 😄 I liked the outdoor seating because there were a lot of trees and plants around, and the weather is also perfect at around 70s. Overall, it was a great visit.
