Crema's Take
“Hearth brings a genuine neighborhood warmth to Denver's Uptown with meticulously crafted espresso drinks and pastries that inspire genuine devotion—regulars rave about their silky smooth coffee and standout laminated pastries like their ham and cheese croissant. The space itself is a draw, with lovely interiors, thoughtful music curation, and a genuinely friendly staff that makes it equally comfortable whether you're lingering over a matcha for hours or grabbing a perfectly executed traditional cappuccino. It's the kind of place that feels like it was designed for real conversations and focused work, with European-style outdoor seating that invites you to stay awhile.”

Fantastic coffee and great pastries at a gorgeous location. The interior is lovely, the music is great, the staff are super friendly—what more could you ask for. Great place to work remotely from, too! Plus, like all Hearth locations, they don't charge extra for oat milk.
Hearth is a local bakery/coffee shop chain that now has four locations, this store in Uptown plus the original shop in the RiNo district, Highlands, and Littleton. They are in the process of expanding the bakery from the small space in RiNo to the storefront next to the Uptown shop. The Uptown space is small, with about ten two-tops, but there is also a private outdoor patio between the buildings with quite a bit of additional seating. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've tried some of their breads which are artisan sourdough using mostly local grains. These are excellent and the pastries look interesting. The coffee is sourced from Tablón Coffee, a Denver roastery, and is mostly single-origin. It's a bit expensive and I'm just not a fan, but that's mainly because I'm not a dark roast person.
This place is amazing!!! The coffee is smooth and yummy. There are so many incredible pastries to enjoy! I highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant.
This place has the absolute best coffee and I had a gluten free Financier (lemony pastry) that was the best gf treat that I have ever had. The service was incredible. I cannot say enough about this place. I live in Boulder and would come to denver just for this place.
I love the space, loveeee the matcha, only wish is that they treated the outside like European patios and offered a small blanket to paying customers when they want to sit outside. I know that’s a wish but still wanted to share!! Excited to visit again - please note for anyone who works remote. Their seats fill up FAST.
