Elemental Bakery & Coffeehouse

Crema's Take
“Elemental Bakery & Coffeehouse is a spacious, light-filled corner spot in York Street Yards where the pastries are genuinely exceptional—think pistachio croissants and miso-forward creations that inspire passionate reviews—and the espresso-focused coffee program matches that same care and precision. The vibe strikes that rare balance between laptop-friendly productivity and leisurely gathering space, with comfortable indoor seating and outdoor options, making it equally welcoming whether you're settling in solo for hours or meeting friends over shakshuka croissants and hazelnut lattes. The team clearly takes both their craft and their guests seriously, creating the kind of neighborhood coffeehouse that feels like a genuine discovery rather than just another caffeine pit stop.”

I am in my element for Elemental Bakery & Coffeehouse! The pistachio croissant rocked my socks off, then I got twisted upside down, backwards and forwards by the homemade cinnamon roll. GAWT! The miso caramel coffee was also excellent! Did I mention the baked goods are made in house?
Pretty spacious, clean, neat coffee shop ans bakery. Tried hazelnut croissant and latte. Service was good and pretty neat atmosphere to sit in. Strongly recommend also trying out their sourdough!
Absolutely wonderful experience! The coffee was truly exceptional, and the Shakshuka croissant was on another level - perfectly made and absolutely delicious. The team was friendly, the vibe was great, and everything felt fresh and intentional. Thank you for an amazing visit, we’ll definitely be coming back very soon! 🙌✨
Great spot to grab coffee or brunch with friends and family. There's lots of parking available with plenty of seating inside and outside the bakery. The inside cushioned seatings were extremely comfortable and I loved the fact that there were so many wall plugs available so that's great for people that want to come study or hangout with their electronics outside the house. I got myself a matcha latte with a pump of vanilla syrup, a garlic knot pastry, and also some savory pastry with peppers and corn inside as the filling. Both baked good were the perfect amount of flakey, buttery, aromatic, and savory goodness. Service was extremely great. The lady that helped me greeted me warmly and offered some help/advice if I needed. She also asked me if I wanted my latte with whole milk or substitute which was great because I sometimes forgot to sub the milk and my stomach is not happy afterwards. I really loved the overall location, especially the fact that they showcase local artists inside and I believe there's some type of floral shop in the back as well. It's super community and family friendly. Would definitely love to come back again.
First time here, was recommended this place because a friend knew the owner. Located in York street yards at a corner location down 39th. Came 2 hours before closing and was quiet. Very new open space, clean, LOTS of seating/plus, and an area for you to take a peak into the back of house where they bake their goodies! Combo bakery, coffee, and mini flower shop! Delicious looking pastries. Focaccia ($4) was soft and you get a good hunk. Got a lavender coconut milk iced latte (5.50) and iced americano (3.50). Good shots, not burnt. Great place to study or get work done! Has a garage door that opens during good weather. Definitely will be back to try the mint cold brew, other pastries, and more!! Plenty of parking. Excited this is here, I’m sure it gets busy.
