I went to Chris Coffee yesterday for the first time after to doing much research on espresso machines and other retailers all over the country. My first impression pulling Into the massive stunning facility I was taken back. As a kid pulling into Disney world I was instantly excited. Once I entered through the front door the waiting area was set up nicely. It had stunning rocket apartamento for guests to get a classy complimentary espresso. I was instantly greeted and met with my salesman Mike. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all my list of espresso dual boiler machines I was considering and gave me honest informed experience with each machine. He assisted with the entire package. Grinder, tamper, the whole 9 for the setup. It was truly a pleasure and refreshing. I left with the Alex duetto. I was a fan of Chris’s coffee just from following them, doing research and watching YouTube videos. After leaving there and being there for the first time with all the warm individuals who work there I left feeling like family. Viva espresso! Thank you for giving us the gift and joy of espresso with your great products and excellent customer service. I strongly recommend for anyone considering several espresso machines to truly go in person as I did so that you are reassured of which one may be better fit for you as I did. It was a great experience because of Chris Coffee.
I bought my Andreja Premium machine 19 years ago from Chris‘s coffee. I send it every few years up for a tuneup and my machine comes back like it is brand new every time. The people at Chris’s coffee are top notch especially Joe Blowers who does all the servicing of the machines. His attention to detail is unmatched and his knowledge and support go above and beyond. If you are looking for a machine or looking to service your machine, give them a call you won’t regret it. Joe thank you very much for everything you’ve done. 19 years later and my machine feels like I just bought it yesterday. Still making great coffee.! Thank you !
I don't often leave reviews because I am rarely moved to give them. With that stipulated, I must say that my experience with Chris's Coffee last month was very impressive. Sam and Mike were highly professional, eager to share their time and knowledge, and congenial. Like all great service providers, they asked many questions in an attempt to determine my needs and preferences. Once satisfied that they understood what I was really looking for, they recommended a less expensive option, notwithstanding that I was clearly ready to spend more money. The grinder they suggested has in fact proven to be perfect for my needs. Their approach helps explain why Chris's is the largest vendor of fine coffee makers and grinders in the country - they understand that customer relationships are created and maintained through honesty and trustworthiness. Very smart.
This review is a year in the making. In September 2024, I placed an order for a La Marzocco Linea Mini from Mark Bagnoli at Chris’ Coffee. I also purchased a Ceado E37S grinder at the same time. The grinder came first but the machine takes a few months because it is hand built in Italy. Originally, something happened with my first shipment and the first freight company “lost” the Linea. I emailed Chris and he was in touch immediately with La Marzocco and they prioritized getting me a replacement en route. I received the machine a few days before Christmas in 2024 and I’ve had it for a year. As I said, this review is a year in the making. I cannot compliment or highly recommend Chris’ Coffee enough. They were a fabulous company to work with on this purchase every step of the way and especially when something happened to the machine that had been shipped to me. Most likely, it was stolen from a warehouse en route to me, but that didn’t matter and that wasn’t La Marzocco or Chris’ Coffees fault. However, Mark Bagnoli was immediately involved when I told him that the machine had just dropped off the tracking radar and I could not get the contact person at the shipping company to reach back out to me. Mark has a great working relationship with La Marzocco and he got me prioritized for a quick replacement. Now about the machine.- yes it was expensive in 2024 and now that someone decided that tariffs are a good thing, it’s even more expensive. That being said, it’s an absolute pleasure to have this elegant piece of Italian art in my kitchen. The style is so retro that it makes a statement just sitting on the marble countertop. However, the machine works flawlessly. I’ve used it extensively for a year - that and the Ceado - and both have been reliable and perfect. When I bought these pieces of pro-level equipment, I had no experience with pulling shots, frothing milk, etc. I was a rank amateur and it’s taken a while, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey of learning about dialing in the grind, altering my tamping technique and pulling shots for espresso, latte, and cappuccinos. There’s something to be said for investing time in learning the nuances and ways of a barista. I’m by no means a pro, but my coffees are noticeably, appreciably better than anything I could get at Starbucks. I would happily recommend Chris’ Coffee and Mark to anybody looking for support before, during, and after the sale.
Chris Coffee saved me when my switch failed on my Rocket R58. They are the only coffee store that I could find that sold OEM approved switches for the Rocket. I was concerned when I initially received the switch for it was different than the original. Tim responded to my email expressing my concern within 12 hour. He explained he orders the updated switch directly from Rocket. It's refreshing to work with a credible vendor with fantastic customer service.
