Matcha Cafe Maiko is hands down one of the best matcha spots in Boston!! It has a very good location near fenway. The matcha flavor is rich, authentic, and just the right amount of sweet. You can really taste the quality of the matcha. I especially loved their soft serves with lots of variety flavors to choose from. It’s super creamy and perfectly balanced. They also have such fun and unique flavors like ube, sakura, and hojicha, which makes it exciting to try something new each time. The bubble waffles are served warm and crispy on the outside but soft inside, so so so good with the ice cream. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are always friendly and greets you. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving high-quality matcha or a cute dessert outing with friends. I’ll absolutely be coming back!! 🍵💚⭐️
One of my favorite matcha places in Boston! We’ve tried many items on the menu and keep coming back to try more. The matcha drinks are so good, and I’m a matcha soft-serve lover 🍦—the one here definitely doesn’t disappoint. I also love the bubble waffles 🧇. I honestly can’t stop myself from ordering them lately, lol. Highly recommend this place for matcha lovers!
Last winter, my friend and I were visiting Boston and we wanted to check out this great matcha cafe. When we came in the manager/owner couldn’t have been nicer. We told her we were from out of state & she was so friendly that we made it a goal to stop by again next time we were in Boston. Cut to this week, we visited Boston again! We weren’t sure if the owner remembered us, but after talking with her we were sure it was the same welcoming person as last time. Once again, the drinks/food was amazing & we can’t wait to stop by again next year! Thanks for a memorable time in Boston😊
I had the Bubble Waffle with Ube and Matcha soft serve mixed, I have to say it was a bit expensive. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The paintings on the wall were very cool.
We stopped in for a refreshing boba tea and it was a great experience. I got the earl grey boba and my friend got the black and gold. Both were delicious! Be aware there are “boba straws” & normal straws, so make sure you get the right size. Bathrooms need a code from your receipt. This is about a ten minute walk from MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
