Little Roy Coffee

571 Greene Ave, Brooklyn, NY

★★★★4.3(216 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

Little Roy Coffee is a one-person-operated gem where a solo barista works magic behind the counter, crafting excellent espresso drinks and surprisingly solid egg and cheese sandwiches on sourdough while keeping the energy high. This pocket-sized Brooklyn neighborhood spot, with just six tables spilling onto the sidewalk, strikes an impressive balance between quick-grab convenience and slow, lingering afternoons—plus it welcomes dogs and laptop workers with equal warmth. Whether you're stopping by for their notably good cold brew or settling in for a Dirty Chai Latte, you're joining a cozy scene of locals, cyclists, and friends who've discovered that the best coffee shops are the ones that feel like they were made for your neighborhood.

Mad props to the one man show at the counter! Barista, sandwich maker, and cafe cashier. Got drinks out quickly and had a great energy. Very good espresso

Cozy neighborhood coffee shop that does a good job of providing the espresso basics. Setting is good to meet with friends or take to-go. I see a lot of people working there but it’s a bit small and can feel crowded quickly. Overall a good spot to grab a quick coffee while walking through the nearby park.

I love you matcha ♥ The neighborhood-friendly cafe is a great tiny place to enjoy the presence of dogs, friendly banter, bikers, girls on their laptops, and brooklynites enjoying their early afternoon at the park. It’s truly Bed-Stuy Do Or Die.
