Crema's Take

Blue Dog Bistro is a beloved brunch destination in Ocean Springs where the coffee rivals the food—reviewers rave about lattes that are as visually charming as they are delicious, paired with standout dishes like impossibly fluffy pancakes and perfectly seasoned pork hash. The real magic happens through their genuinely knowledgeable servers like Kayla and Jameson, who elevate the experience with honest recommendations and the kind of attentive service that keeps people coming back, all while bottomless mimosas and the relaxed outdoor seating create that perfect slow-morning vibe.

Perfect breakfast spot! So glad we found it we will definitely be back! Kayla our server was polite and delivered excellent customer service! Our lattes were the cutest! The food was delicious we started as bad dogs and ended with being good dogs. We had the praline bacon which was mouth watering good then had the mushroom spinach frittata with fresh fruit and the most amazing creamy yellow grits! 😋

Tried this place for the first time based on many recommendations. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast and my latte was very good. The only complaint I had was about my entrée I specifically went there for eggs Benedict, and they do not have traditional eggs Benedict on the menu, which is a disappointment What I had was pulled pork And the pork was seasoned very spicy Which contradicts eggs Benedict because the flavor should come from the fat of the egg and the hollandaise sauce. I am sure some people enjoy them. I just wish they had a traditional eggs Benedict on the menu With Canadian bacon. They had two other options with the pulled pork and seafood Therefore, not too hard to include one with Canadian bacon. The side order of praline’s bacon was very good and it is nueske brand which is a favorite from Wisconsin. Disappointed that you cannot order neuske plain with your food. Their side order of bacon is just an offbrand of bacon Per the waitress

Our waitress Jameson was very knowledgeable about the brunch menu. She gave honest answers and I appreciate her for that. The bottomless mimosas were delicious along with my steak and eggs. I especially enjoyed the grits because most places don’t ever cook them right and these were cooked with love, Ty!! Will be returning.. Nice establishment and very well kept…

First time there Kayla was our waitress and she had amazing suggestions. Coffee was delicious. Food was delicious pancakes were so soft and fluffy the pork hash had outstanding flavor. We will definitely be back whenever in town. Don’t even have pictures of the food bc we licked the plates clean

Yo, we pulled up hungry, Ocean Springs glow, Blue Dog Bistro — brunch time show. Mimosa on deck, OJ on the side, Cute lil’ touch, we were feelin’ that vibe. Bartender stepped in, server M.I.A., She was busy, it’s cool, we’ll let that delay. We said, “Send the pancakes early if you can,” But they came with the mains — not part of the plan. Now blueberry stacks lookin’ all divine, Butter melting slow like it knew the time. Fluffy and sweet, yeah, those cakes hit right, Best part of the meal, hands down, no fight. I got the Luxe — salmon, capers, cream cheese, Bagel toasted just enough to please. But that salmon? Fishy in the wrong way, Made me wish I’d gone with eggs today. Then came the burger — hangover cure? Maybe, if your jaw’s an architect for sure. Stack so tall, you gotta bite in parts, Sauce on your nose like modern art. Sweet potato chips, though? Big ol’ flop, Soggy and sad, they just couldn’t pop. Friend had jasmine tea, thought it’d be sweet, But bitter vibes took over that seat. Cool dispenser, sure, but flavor said “nah,” We all sat there like “that’s not the spa.” So yeah, been there, done that, stamps our card, Blue Dog Bistro — not hitting that hard. We left full but not wowed, just kind of meh, Cute place, sure, but not “come back” yet. Ocean Springs shine, brunch on a quest, Blue Dog? You’re fine — but not our best.
