Quantum Bean Coffee
258 Kingwood St, Morgantown, WV
Crema's Take
“Nestled in a cozy Morgantown neighborhood, Quantum Bean earns its stellar reputation with genuinely personalized service and housemade flavored syrups that elevate their espresso-focused drinks beyond the typical coffee shop fare. The laid-back, welcoming atmosphere attracts both laptop workers and regulars who appreciate the care that goes into each cup, though be prepared for premium pricing that reflects their specialty approach. It's the kind of place where the staff's warmth and attention to detail matter just as much as the coffee itself.”

Best coffee in town. Personalized experience unlike any other coffee shop with the nicest staff. Very relaxed laid Back spot.
$14 for 2 coffees?! And it’s not even that good. They charged almost a $1 just to have a splash of oat milk in an americano?! Also a large americano has the same amount of shots in it as a small? That’s not standard normal. They have an extensive list of specialty drinks which seems cool until the one you get tastes extremely watered down. Really disappointed as the location and vibes otherwise were cute. Barista was a little cold compared to usual, but that could have been a generational/cultural thing. Where I like to go, baristas greet everyone when they come in and let them know they’ll be right with you if there’s no one else in the store but they’re busy. This one just kept chatting with her friend who was sitting at the bar. I can get over that, but the prices being so insanely high paired with the medium quality turned me way off. Limited food choices, nothing savory just unhealthy sweets was unusually. A croissant or small microwaveable burrito would be great. Also I really hope they consider switching the direction of their door to in-swing. It’s dangerous.
A very cozy and welcoming space with an extremely positive atmosphere and wonderful staff. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a few additional beverage options, such as smoothies or other non-coffee drinks, to complement the menu.
Cute place with good coffee and housemade flavored syrups. My only complaint is the steep steps to get to the front door and it opens on the right, so it blocks the rail on the left. This is a hardship for people with mobility limitations, and impossible for people in wheelchairs.
Tucked into a little neighborhood up the hill from Morgantown, this great little coffee shop definitely has a local vibe to it. Easy going staff, regulars coming in and out, and good coffee. Pretty standard mech wall, exposed bar, and a very clean aesthetic. The counter looked handmade with some great woodworking details. Barista knew her trade well and we had a good way to start the day. Seating is limited but comfortable, definitely a quick hang and talk to people, don't think you would ever find laptop squatters here.
