Chocolaterie Stam - Des Moines

I don't know if I should direct this review to other customers or to the owners. My husband and I moved here in about 2017 and we are 2 huge fans! The seasonal treats are like something from another world. Last year we got to sample the chocolate covered strawberries. I went back to ask if I could buy some. They wouldn't let me, because it was after Valentine's Day but I put it on my calendar to buy some this year. We also got hip to the V-Day Snickers. Omg! There's no way your stock hasn't gone up since we moved here. The Halloween Apples!!! The Christmas Apples!!!! Terry and all the sweethearts behind the counter

Best place around des moines to get chocolates. We go every year to get my wife chocolate covered strawberries for valentines day.

Highly recommend Chocolaterie Stam, not only for the chocolate or gelato when you pop in, but also for catering!!! They catered gelato at my wedding and it was a HUGE hit! It couldn’t have gone over any better with the guests… it was delicious, fun, and we ate every last bite! 10/10 would recommend having them cater your next event! Affordable and perfect 🍨

Stopped here for gelato after eating lunch down the street. Everyone behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. They were patient and let us try a few before making a decision. Their gelato was delicious! It was the perfect finish to our meal. I don't like chocolate but I'm tempted to go back and try it considering how good their gelato is!

Sat on the patio with music over speakers and cute little birds and flowers growing. Ate gelato and staff brought out cold water to us. So nice! Lived the sale selection of cards and enjoyed buying my daughter chocolates for her birthday.
