Bad Brain Coffee

Bad Brain Coffee Co. is a pretty cool little coffee shop! We also got a few souvenir stickers from them. We ordered the signature latte, Berry Proud of Ya latte and the London Calling Matcha drink, both in oatmilk. This is the first match drink that my wife loves. And I loved the Berry Proud of Ya latte, it's not too sweet but still flavorful. There's plenty of street parking and a parking lot nearby. Customer service was welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back here for more and would highly recommend this location to others!

I can't believe I haven't left a review yet, Bad Brain is THE best coffee shop in Raleigh. My girlfriend says I may have an addiction to their coffee 😆 The drinks are consistently delicious, with several unique specialty lattes throughout the year to keep things spicy. The business is also locally owned and very mindful of the community they are a part of. This is a must try if you haven't visited already!

I can’t recommend Bad Brain enough! I have been a customer since shortly after they opened and they truly never miss. My favorite always-available drink is one of their signature lattes, Berry Proud of Ya, but I’ve never had a drink I didn’t like — there are truly no bad choices! They frequently switch up their seasonal selections and have some of the tastiest (and unique) combinations of flavors I’ve seen. I honestly have the hardest time choosing what to get and often find myself there more than once a week to try everything (or to get my faves)! On top of a kick ass menu, the BB team are some of the nicest and coolest people you could meet and are always so kind and inviting! It can get busy on market days, but they are amazing at keeping customers informed about wait times when you place your order and stick to it (sometimes the wait isn’t even as long as expected!) Bad Brain became an instant fave for me in the Triangle and I’m so glad they joined the Raleigh coffee scene. The vibes are unmatched and the drinks are just as awesome!

By far my favorite coffee spot. I’ve never had anything short of a great experience here after a year of visiting 1-2 times a week. The staff and owner genuinely care about how they treat customers and their community and that level of intention comes through in all ways. The drinks, specifically, are elite. They craft each flavor in a way that highlights and celebrates the espresso rather than just covering it up. (Because they make sure the coffee stands up on its own). I will continue to recommend this as the best coffee in Raleigh (and beyond) based on flavor alone, but the values Bad Brain stands for make it that much better.

It was a great stop on a Sunday morning with no line and quick, friendly service. The iced latte was smooth and well balanced. It’s conveniently located near the greenway, making it an easy and enjoyable spot to grab coffee before or after a walk. I’d definitely come back.
