The Salty Cow

Have only had breakfast here so far - good egg wrap and very good coffee. They even had decaf espresso! :D Will be back.

Delicious sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. Friendly people too. They also sell coffee, some pastries, and fresh mozzarella. Small space but it’s nice, has counter seating inside and one outdoor table.

I had high expectations after reading all the reviews. Gravy! Roast beef! Fresh mozzarella! How can you go wrong? I guess I was expecting something more like a poboy. It wasn’t bad. But it was just meh. One and done. There’s a million other better sandwich places in the area. And fresh mozzarella isn’t really that exotic of an ingredient in New Jersey. Yes. The people working there seemed very nice. But for the price I can think of many other places that I’d go to before the Salty Cow. Also. I never trust a restaurant where you can’t smell food cooking. I felt like I was in a coffee shop. Not a “sandwich joint” as one review stated. My teenage daughter just said that it felt like a sandwich she had to get through. That says it all. Good luck.

I ordered a few sandwiches last week, very tasty and the owners seem like really good guys. Going to order there today as well.

GREAT PLACE I WOULD 110% RECCOMEND, I AM A FRIEND OF THE PERSON WHO OWNS THIS AND FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, THIS IS THE BEST SANDWHICH PLACE EVER, I REALLY LOVE THE SALTY COW.
