Blind Tiger Coffee Roasters

Came here yesterday morning (March first) while visiting Tampa & waking up to some bad news to try and turn the day around and all three of the baristas behind the counter were extremely rude and unwelcoming, I greeted them just to be blatantly ignored when first walking in. I then ordered two cold lattes, but asked for one with no ice as I was bringing it to a friend. They young lady taking my order was extremely short and rude with all of her responses, and they just filled the latte with no ice up to the brim with milk, after I specifically asked for extra room in the cup, and then they were laughing when setting my two drinks down. $30 for two bitter lattes and a flatbread with artificial eggs. I couldn’t recommend this place less.

Coffee is okay, but they wouldn’t let my pregnant wife use their restroom. Well, they had a sign saying that the bathroom was closed except for employees, I observed on multiple occasions they let certain guests enter the bathroom. They also allow non-service dogs in their restaurant which is a health code violation.

This was my first time visiting this café and wow, I’ve definitely been missing out. It’s a simple cute spot, the service was truly 10/10 and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a cafe con leche and it was so good. I also tried the croissant and it was delicious. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, get some work done or just spend a quiet moment with yourself. Super cozy vibe and I really liked the Howard location. There’s convenient parking nearby too. I’ll definitely be back!

I stopped going to the big chain and made Blind Tiger my local coffeehouse almost 3 years ago. Blind Tiger has a lot of really good and interesting flavors for lattes. My favorites are pistachio and lavender vanilla. Shout to new and old staff (we miss you!). This location is awesome. My drinks are always good, always ready when I order online, and everyone is always kind and doing little extra things to put a smile on your face. I love Blind Tiger in SoHo/Hyde Park!

Stop number two on our Tampa Bay Coffee Shop Battle journey took us to Blind Tiger in SOHO! 🐅 This was our first time at this location, and we were immediately impressed by their strong branding and awesome merch. The giant tiger neon sign and the wall of adorable dog Polaroids were definite highlights! My husband went for their spring special, the Honey Jasmine Latte, and it definitely delivered a sweet honey punch. He was so taken with their logo that he couldn't resist snagging their zip-up hoodie. Another great spot to support local and enjoy some fantastic coffee.
