The Coffee Pot
Historic District, Provincetown, MA
Crema's Take
“Nestled in Provincetown's prime whale-watching corridor, this spot pulls double duty as both a quick caffeine pit stop and a surprisingly beloved local hangout where staff like Audrey genuinely make you feel at home. Beyond the solid traditional coffee and cold brew, it's gained a loyal following for unexpected gems like exceptional hot dogs and addictive peanut butter cup cookies—the kind of place where regulars have developed their own "ptown routine" and generous iced coffees keep visitors coming back between maritime adventures.”

Good stop for coffee, small snack or smoothie before getting out whale watching but nothing special. Prime location for a quick pop in but just ok
We bought tea and coffee, and as we sat down we asks for restroom. They told us to use public toilets outside across the street. If I am not mistaken it is code to provide restroom to customers when sitting inside for food and drink. To top it off, as I sat with my two kids, I overheard the staff mocking us with other customers for asking for the owners details so we could share our disappointment. I can’t imagine the owner being happy with this service for kids who are sitting in. I felt bad that my kids having to experience this.
This is an amazing restaurant. Audrey is amazing and she really made the place feel like home. The hot dogs are some of the best I’ve ever had in America. Ate there every day on my trip. I’ll be back. Only downside is they charge for soda refills but still five stars all the way.
Whenever I’m here I get the peanut butter cup cookie and it is so good. It’s part of my ptown routine by now. My friend also got a large iced coffee here and it was LARGE, maybe 40-something ounces.
the food was really good I did feel a little pressured to order fast, the staff seemed irritated that day it could've been a bad day. I ordered a gyro and a iced coffee, the coffee was okay the gyro was delicious and decent size. it doesn't fill you up but it is good enough. the place is a bit small and packed also so I didn't care for that to much
