Daddy’s Breakfast and Espresso
, Charleston, SC
Crema's Take
“This mobile espresso operation in Charleston has earned serious devotion for pulling genuinely excellent shots alongside hearty, ingredient-forward breakfast burritos and addictively good baby cakes that have customers plotting return trips. The energy here strikes that sweet spot between "quick caffeine fix" and "specialty coffee craftsmanship," with creative signature drinks and traditional espresso drinks executed with equal care. You're getting the kind of coffee that satisfies an espresso enthusiast while the food actually lives up to the hype—no skimping, just fresh components and real technique.”

Daddy’s came to our neighborhood today and I got the West Coast Burrito. It was great and they didn’t skip on any of the ingredients! Also got the ice vanilla latte and it’s delicious as well. Definitely hope they come back to our neighborhood again and will look for them when I’m out to grab another burrito.
Stopped by Daddy’s on a whim… my husband got the “east coast daddy” breakfast burrito and ever since I had 2 bites yesterday morning, it’s all I can think about. I’ll be tracking this truck down very soon. Coffee was awesome too.
Hey first time having Daddy’s breakfast. It was an avocado toast with a side of fried chicken. Chicken was very tender. Avocado was fresh. Thank you
Daddy's came to my place of work. As an espresso enthusiast, I was excited to see an establishment boasting "Espresso" in their name! It did not disappoint. I was skeptical at first, because I've had a really hard time dialing in the Hologram blend from Counter Culture on my home setups. But once I tasted Daddy's expression of it, I could immediately see why it is called "Hologram". The espresso is bright and vibrant, with a good, fruity acidity. On online home espresso forums, there's an adage passed around that "the best espresso is the one you make for yourself." It is a rare occasion when that saying is proven untrue, but Daddy's did it. I highly recommend for coffee enthusiasts. And I haven't even mentioned that the breakfast burrito I got was one of the best I've ever had...
The baby cakes are the greatest food I’ve ever eaten and I regularly think about going back to Charleston just to eat them
